No offence from me! I really like your posts mate. You'll live long in the memory for your ITK bombshell too.
Regarding the kit, I really like green as a change choice. As I have said before, I wish all clubs would develop a change identity and save the wacky experimentation for third kits. If that were the case, green and white would be right up there as a permanent candidate for me.
Nostalgia isn’t what it used to be. Except with this kit it is!
Love it but I’ve always had this thing about green kit (shirt and shorts) ‘disappearing’ into the pitch background making team mates harder to pick out? Didn’t seem to bother Plymouth last season though.
Loved the way they introduced the kit to the squad - great getting Rhino involved and making the link between the squad who got us from non-league to EFL, and linking that overall ongoing journey of the football club with our current aims and endeavours. Well done Phil, Keith and the two Matts for this.
This is actually the one part of the kit I also like. The rest, I still don't get. But then I had no memory of this kit really being used. Maybe that's the issue. It means nothing to me.
This one, however, is nostalgia up the wazoo for me.
I have a friend (who doesn’t even support Wycombe) but for some reason buys the goalie kits if they’re a particular eyesore, he owns the yellow kaleidoscope one, the pink blotchy one (he was a big fan of Blind Barry Richardson’s designs) and the New Orleans lollipop effort.
He approves wholeheartedly of the new “flock wallpaper” effort, which I suspect speaks volumes.
Didn’t Sharwoods used to be based in Wycombe? They would have made a great sponsor here.
I like that keeper strip. Not entirely sure Max does - as I passed him on the way out, in response to “Will you look forward to wearing it” he said “I have to, I have no choice”

Thanks @Shev
I do like that Hummell have acknowledged the fans and the club by giving a "nod" to our past.
Need our owners to do the same now.
Fully agree with @Shev .
We are all waiting impatiently for your next bit if ITK info though 😉
As long as its the Unexpected Promotion Second Kit I am happy...
They're being unusually coy about the goalkeepers' kits. Unless I've missed it there's been no reveal of either one of them yet?

,
Is the new away (change) kit a 2 season job does anyone know?
Or will it be the primary away kit for a season, then binned off to 3rd next season?

Will always associate that kit with West Brom away
That home and away kit, had the longest shorts since the 1950's.
New GK kit is hideous https://www.wwfc.com/news/2023/july/07/max-celebrates-award-win-with-keeper-kit-reveal-/
The inspiration
The pattern Reminds me of a wrought iron gate. Maybe it’s symbolic.
Forbidden curry?
For anyone who can’t be bothered to click the link. Not sure it will sell many!
Isn’t that the point of the GK kits?
Wow, that is horrible
Once again, I like that the badge colour matches (some of) the shirt colour.
it’s certainly bold.
Vile. And if I were Origin, I'd be pissed off - their logo is entirely lost in that monstrosity.
I noticed that there's also mention of a third outfield kit.
Why? Which team could we possibly face, where the blue quarters and the green and white stripes both produce a clash?
There's a difference between bold and ugly!

More than a hint of 70s style balti house wallpaper, nothing wrong with a lairy goalie shirt, who buys goalie shirts anyway.
My 6 year old loves it. 🤦♂️
Mind you, I should have seen that coming. He wanted the Orange Gk kit last birthday.
Supposedly it's 'mardi gras' inspired again. I think the novelty wore off after the first one of those, lads...
Exactly this.
You might get a few kids who want to be a keeper buy them, but any adult who buys one will be a real outlier.
The fleur-de-lis that appears in the patterns is a symbol associated with New Orleans & Mardi Gras, as are the purple and gold colours.

I'm finally warming to the man!
