I am envisioning a detective show based around @ChasHarps where his catch line is "I just have one simple question", before he embarks upon a very detailed, analytical interrogation for which the suspect has no answer.
If I read the thread correctly, you have still uncovered something unique about Wycombe Wanderers, inasmuch as no-one has made the semi-finals of each with one being 3rd tier and one being 4th? That would be a finer achievement than both in the 3rd tier!
Indeed Shev. Really the intention was to see which lower league clubs had reached semi finals of both cups but to be fair I worded the question badly and in truth I had forgotten we were Lg2 at the time of the LC semi.
On a related theme, I am interested in which teams have the best combined records in the four main FA cup competitions.
Wimbledon have won the FA Cup and the FA Amateur Cup, which trumps our Amateur Cup and Trophy, but we have a FA Cup SF, and I don't think the Dons have been past the QF in the Trophy. I don't think any team has won three different cups.
Ah I didn’t understand that @Steve_Peart . The vase is for small clubs so very unlikely that it’s winner would ever also win the FA Cup, indeed I believe only one winner has even gone on to reach the FL.
Yes, FGR have won the Vase, Fleetwood Town were finalists once. FGR have lost two Trophy finals.
The Amateur Cup and Trophy double has been achieved by Bishop's Stortford, Bromley, Enfield, Kingstonian, Wealdstone, Woking and ourselves. Hopefully I haven't missed anyone.

We have also won both the L1 and L2 playoffs, which Sheffield United cannot have done, so unless Plymouth have done it, we are even more unique.
We are uniquely the only club to reach the semi finals of Fa Cup,Lge Cup,Amateur Cup and FA Trophy.
And the papa Johnson, freight rover what's its name Cup.

And the Anglo-Italian Cup!
Middlesbrough probably the closest to winning 3 - but lost their only FA Cup Final
And the San An cup
Of course being pedantic , the league cup was not an FA competition - which was the point of Alan Hardener’s comp.
I do feel it is so important to get the little details right…..
And don't forget the B&B Cup and London 5-a-side.
There must be others too ...
Midweek Floodlight Cup (?)
London Senior Cup?
(I know we never entered it but just opening old wounds…)
I wasn't including the League Cup as one of the four, if that's what you mean, the other being the Vase.
