I contacted Cllr Katrina Wood ( who is a Trust member) and she got on to the Cabinet member for Transport at Buckinghamshire Council. As a result the planned works have been rescheduled.
Just came out of Mill End Road turned left and on up to Plomer Hill. Chaos as they have just set up 3 way lights on the junction of Plomer Hill and A40. Might clear it up before the rush hour but I have my doubts?
Good news, they have finished & cleared away the 3 way lights at junction of Plomer Hill and A40.
Bad news: they have moved them to Hughendon Valley, Coates Lane & Green Hill and made them 4 way!!. Total carnage there atm.
Yesterday after the game, I passed a significant number of cars which where parked up on grass verges along Warwick and Carisbrooke Ave's, all with Penalty Notices affixed to their windscreens (fortunately mine wasn't one of them). I was curious as to which regulation(s) they had contravened. I found this site which covers the subject fairly well.
They are still doing road works on Cressex Rd, it took ages trying to turn left out of Holmers Farm Way yesterday. Also still roadworks on the A40 West Wycombe Rd, opposite Victoria Street.
Might be temporary traffic lights on the London Road by VW garage/Kwikfit. Looked like they were setting up at 10am on the way into town and it was busy back at the bottom of Marlow Hill down towards the Law Courts when we came home (so we went a different way).
Could anyone possibly give me some advice regarding parking on/near Toweridge Lane?
Looking to park around West Wycombe/Piddington (for logistical reasons) then walk over the hill. I wondered if there was any on-street parking available around there. Thanks.
Thanks @micra but no. We abandoned the plan, mainly owing to the inclement weather and the thought of walking 2 miles over muddy footpaths. We will save it for another day. Still need to understand the parking options available though.

Top work @AlanCecil !!
Thanks @AlanCecil, presumably the club will publicise that.
Well done @AlanCecil.
We work well with the club through good communication channels! LOL
Thanks for your efforts @AlanCecil great news! (Can we just send you a list of other local stuff that needs sorting??)
Any chance of putting some pressure on Steve Baker to represent his constituents while you are undertaking local matters ?

Who knew ?
Note to self:- must read the Highway Code more often.
I'm told there is a car fire on the m40 at Beaconsfield, just now

We need a footballing update soooo much
Hey ford Hill A34 roundabout, still road closures due to massive water main burst early in the week. Allow extra journey time to the PNL’s.

Any updates on today? supposed to be something round by the ground apparently
Roadworks at Lane End Road.
Seen one altercation, real shame for the club
Following an earlier accident there are long delays on the M40 northbound from J6 to J7
Any traffic news for today?
I'm told its best to avoid West Wycombe road!
Lots of traffic lights around, some from half term roadworks

Hope someone direct messaged you @HomerLone.
Did you work out a suitable route?

This is exactly the kind of problem the Chairboylift will solve
Looking at the map, presumably you could just leave your car in this little layby here

A few hundred metres from Toweridge.
Failing that, the pay carpark slightly down Chorley Lane, then similar short walk back to Toweridge that way.
Or just park in West Wycombe village itself.
Or even down the main road in Chorley Lane itself?
Any traffic news?
It’s dead! Hardly anyone here…
