I’m three beers and a negroni in and a Burton player see red in stoppage time. I’ll be signing back in at 4:45 for a chorus of 2 nil and you fucked it up!
Definite red card, potentially a penalty for Big Chris being pulled down. Big second half here now - I'd have Campbell on soon to run at a weakened defence.
I get the conditions are bad but we played such lovely, dominating football on Tuesday when Stryjek was instructed to pass short or roll the ball out. Now we're back to route one and I can't recall a single one of his long kicks which have actually led to Wycombe possession. With a one-man advantage we've every opportunity to get back to the silky, flowing Bloomball football - Chem on for Hanlan and Scowen on for Freeman would be my preference.
We don't normally have 45mins against 10 men though.
Here's hoping for it to be an absolute game changer, rather than like that Fleetwood cup game when they were a lower tier, and we still lost comfortably
It would be lovely symbolism near the start of the Bloomfield era to embark on a classic Bayo-era 3-2 comeback win, but one goal at a time. We have to make that extra man count, which we have not always been good at, and it may be harder on a bobbly pitch.
Partially. They were top of their league, we were bottom of ours. Think we might have been 1-0 down, when their man got sent off before half time. Then they increased the league.
This was way before ifollow / ability to watch online, but for some reason it was available online, despite not being a television selected game.
Amazing how we just take for granted watching every single game now. Vividly remember the days where 1 Sky game every 3 or 4 seasons felt like a huge event.

Hard to argue with that.
Ooh hello, the spark for the first epic comeback of the Blooms era?
Shocking challenge from their No4 - fully deserved the red card

Expected their man to look surprised when turning to see the red, but he didn't at all. That says it all.
Freeman didn't seem remotely concerned from 2 yards away, whereas Wheeler, Forino etc raced in.
How was that not a penalty?
Seconded

MB needs to make some changes at half time to take advantage of the numerical superiority we will have for 45 minutes
Would have to be something 10times more blatant than that to get a pen 30secs after the red. Shouldn't be the way it is, but that's reality.
Just a reminder that we have not gained a single point when trailing at any point during the second half.
If there was ever a time...
It must drive managers absolutely mad. Your team's two nil up, it's nearly half time and one of your players does that
Need to go for it second half. I would bring Scowen and Campbell on for Freeman and McCarthy.

So would I.

I dont think we've played awfully. They've capitalised off a defence mistake, and had a great strike to be 2 up.
We've been poor at moving it forward, but it doesn't feel like we've been poor enough to be 2 down.
Let's remember it was never going to be an easy job to just carry on from Ainsworth
Was that down to Vardy ?

That would be like claiming Flackwell is pronounced Flack-well
It's definitely Ma-gilvry
We're picking (or trying to direct) a lot of ball-to-feet passes from midfield, mostly from Wing.
If we have a bit more space to pick those passes then that has to work in our favour.
But yeah, definitely a game for Campbell to come on and scare them with some pace and trickery.
Vokes looks well up for this and should get something with a bit more service.
Wait... It isn't?
I don’t think so !
Frackle.

Maybe time to go wild, 3 at the back, Chem on out wide, and Vokes/Hanlan proper front 2.
Scowen on for Freeman for more security in the middle to balance it.
Go for broke.
If I need to apologise to @bluntphil i’ll haply do so.
How on earth do you pronounce it? 😂
Frackle!
