Went for Wing because he played a really varied role, often mopping up deep and then playmaking further up field at other points. But hard to not give it to Vokes and Forino. With a little luck it could easily have gone to Campbell who was turning Rooney inside out when he came on and just didn't quite get the final shot/ball away.
Hes still young with much to learn... but he is getting better with time. He will definitely be one of our future heros. His effort can't be knocked either
Someone on here pointed out than Hanlan is the king of breaking the defensive line with the ball somehow deflecting back into his path off two or three limbs. I don't know how he does it, but I love it!
Thought his usually excellent first touch completely went for a period mid game and nothing stuck with him but he added defensive cover and is full of running.
That was me I think. Still amazes me how he does that more than anyone else - if there's some close pinball going on with multiple defenders trying to nick the ball off him, he nearly always comes away with the ball and often leaves at least one of the defenders on the deck. Reminds me of Faustino Asprilla.
Agree about Hanlan. Thompson (remember him?) is a bit like that...unusally coming out of a tight corner amongst a bunch of opposition players with the ball stuck to his foot. Excellent. I've always thought Wheeler was a bit unsung, even when he was unsung, but he has certainly stepped into the limelight this term.

Not sure Mehmeti has any of the tools to be a top centre back but, yes, know what you mean and it’s transparently true.
You know I can never resist a wry quip @fame_46. Yes, I hope I made it clear that I knew what you meant.
Nick Freeman is great 😊
Clearly three great options for MOM last night. I chose Vokesy, who seems to be on the cusp of delivering a goal of the century strike.

I'd go Wheels. His work rate is immense and his adaptability crucial. He was everywhere last night. Solid nights work.
Wheels was definitely an unsung hero last night, not got many votes here but put in a hell of a shift with barely a foot wrong.
And it’s Vokes by a short head as they approach the final furlong…,,,,
Wheeler has a position? 😁
Special mention for Hanlan, who seemed to pop up exactly where we needs him in defence a couple of times last night.
Thanks for the heads up on that - I did not even realize! I'll try to remember to drop it for next time.
It's amazing Big Chris only has 40 appearances for us, including 33 in the league. It feels as though he has been around a long time!
Bikes with big Chris very close.
Vokes not Bikes
Agree with this. He put in a right shift last night in terms of tracking back and still getting up and down to provide an attacking outlet.
Great attitude and professionalism and it was good to hear the crowd acknowledge his efforts when he was substituted.
Can still be a bit frustrating in terms of his final ball and in front of goal but he was a big part of last night’s win.

But does he really have a short head? Looks normal sized to me.😄
A shame his overhead kick was straight to the keeper, anywhere near top corner and it would likely have gone in.
Nice MOTM vote turnout for a cold midweeker. 92 and counting.
Just yards from the winning post it’s Forino, Vokes and Wing in that order. An amazing 83% of the total votes between them.
A tremendous three horse race.
