I believe Trescothick is right handed but played left handed, having spent lots of time mirroring right handed batsmen and practicing their technique when watch cricket in telly as a youngster
I'm left handed, and left footed, but player snooker and pool right handed. I've tried to player left handed but it feels very peculiar, and gives me little control over the cue.
Lol... he said we knocked the ball around un flustered, had a great shot and deserved to be 2-0 up... but it was anti football ! Need to make your mind up there mate
Three players of our players touched the ball as it progressed from our penalty area into the back of their net. Sheer joy was the result. I timed it as 10 seconds. Doesn't seem like anti-football to me - efficient football maybe! It might be anti-football in their heads because conceding that sort of goal gives them a big dose of demotivation. Gives our terrace a good chant next time we score against them - "Anti-football! Anti-football!" Shame that game wasn't on a Saturday.
I know this really belongs on the 'Max Appreciation' thread but a round of applause for the first of the two passes which led to the second goal.
I attended Brighton vs Burnley last season where Burnley walloped them 3-0 in their first away game of the season. Their rendition of “anti football” was absolutely brilliant. Amazed the terrace haven’t got that kicking off yet.
@eric_plant - I have just re-read it and I now think you are right. The tone of the rest of that paragraph would suggest that is true. It is easy to read it as a criticism because the start of the article is so critical of our facilities.
Ironic, it is a very big compliment, from an opposition fan. I am very tempted to write on their forum and say that.
I was left footed, always played down the left side, started as a winger and gradually drifted to the left back position. Nobody ever described my left foot as a wand but heard the word "crap" often enough! 🤨
Horgan has been available for only two games since joining Stevenage, given postponements and his being Cup-tied. He came on as a sub in both games, one being a massively wind-spoilt affair away at Harrogate, followed by a solid tonking of fellow title contenders Leyton Orient. Unlikely that Evans is going to be shaking up his League 2 starting XI too much at the moment.

He was better than Sibley
Being left footed is treated like something really special though.
When do you ever hear someone's right foot being described as a wand and suchlike.

A very enjoyable read. They had a miserable experience on Tuesday night! https://www.rageonline.co.uk/fans-view-22-23-no-32-wycombe-away/
Crikey, that was a much longer read than expected ! Small typeface and slow reader equals an even later night than usual.
Apparently our second goal was anti football. We really do live in Oxford's heads, fans and manager alike.

His comment "On came Matty Taylor who we all know has been ineffectual for ages and looks way past his peak" made me chuckle.
I heard from a trustworthy "little bird" quite close to source that when Matt Taylor moved to Oxford it was for £10k+ per week.
I'd be pretty pi££ed off if we were paying that for a player who only seems to be used as an occasional (and not particularly successful) impact sub !
Horgan!!

I think the author was being ironic

Has Horgan started for Stevenage yet?
Irrelevant. The gasroom still think he’s a top quality player because his movement is good or something or other
