I once went on the Man City forum and saw them complaining about how the world is against them, UEFA is conspiring to make sure they never win the Champions League, and how it has always been so hard following Man City.
Yep. Bearing in mind every Chelsea fan you ever meet has supported them "40 years" (even the ones younger than 40), it's surprising they think their natural level is winning titles, and not watching Stein and Furlong oafing around up front.
hmmm, fair point @glasshalffull I'm perhaps in an unusually joyful and forgiving mood following that wonderful victory! Some of the mistruths he's written about us, do still rankle.
That article is all fluff and no substance. Nice graphics and presentational skills, but if “McCleary has 9 G/A at the age of 35 for Wycombe, so he must be providing something” is all you can conjure up, then there’s not a chance I’m buying into your belief that Peterborough ‘dominated’.
I thought they were dreadful the other day. Second best to everything and looked like a side not playing for their manager, fans or anything. Gutless display
Raises age old questions as to the point of any of it, if you are going to yo-yo you need to plan a bit better and if you rate your manager back them and give them time.
You can tell by many of their comments on our performance in the championship that they thought they'd do much better than us.
Then they do worse and pressure comes on the manager who quits and they expect his replacement to immediately win L1.
You could almost say it's all on our friend Mr Swann but big mouth Darragh needs his fair share of blame.
Shame they didn't give big bad Baz Fry a last hurrah in the dugout.
Just imagine what the combined total of all the various pay-offs has been, especially when backroom teams are taken into account too. Must be hundreds of thousands.
They could have just stuck with Ferguson, given he clearly suits the club, in the same way Wycombe have with Gareth. Instead they just sack him every time it gets a bit bumpy in the Championship and re-appoint him in League One. What’s the point?

Today's results leave us 7th in the table. AINSWORTH OUT
Some Liverpool fans are currently screaming KLOPP OUT on their forums. Satire seems impossible nowadays.

Different world!
I know a Chelsea fan who is like that. Screaming about the corruption his poor lads face regularly.
Not sure if it's the Oil money that breeds this.
Heart bleeds. Fairly sure he's seen harder lifes.

I wouldn't have minded Furlong 'oafing about up front', when he used to run us ragged for Enfield.
I’m pretty sure Mark Stein scored me a hatful of points in my first ever fantasy football team.
Didn’t Edwin run us ragged on various occasions for Barnet?
Nothing to do with the thread, mind - although there’s a Barry Fry link in there somewhere. Over to @ChasHarps for the full details...
They've come a long way since Dave Beasant
He scored 7 goals in 7 games didn’t he?
Edwin was a central midfielder for Barnet, used to clean up and dictate the tempo in that very good Barnet side.
Brian Stein was arguably the best of the brothers. Got bags of goals for Luton, when they were in there pomp. And a full England cap.
They had a great side in those days.
Frontline of Mick Harford, Brian Stein, Paul Walsh. Ricky Hill pulling the strings from midfield. Les Sealey in goal, Mal Donaghy in defence.
Kingsley Black and Roy Wegerle in the same team for a couple of years as well
Anyone got some salt, wounds for the use of?
I’m not seeing any Posh players in the team of the week?
We dominated that didn't we!

Interesting piece. Perhaps draws one or two overly grand conclusions, but there's a lot of good stuff here. The writer is a professional scout, too.

Meme club. Someone's been having fun with the managers section on their Wiki... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peterborough_United_F.C.#Managers
The curse of Bluey.
Daft decision. They looked good against us. Better than at least a few of the other top 8 clubs. I think they’d have made the playoffs.
Love it.
Was that someone you by any chance :)
'Give it Fergie 'til end of season'
Lol, surprisingly I've never done that
Honestly?
