Thought Max was brilliant especially when you compare him too Peterborough's goalkeeper. Jacobson just seemed to pop up in all the right places and was great.
Could go on all night but really pleased and 2 crackers from Wing.
Didn't think we were great in the 1st half, but that was a brilliant 2nd half. Much the superior team and could easily have scored more.
Wasn't sure about the 8 changes at Plymouth, but credit to GA, I think the points total over the last 4 games, does justify his selections and we could quite conceivably have got a point at Plymouth.
Certainly in the mix now for playoff places following the recent run of games. Will that change the club’s thoughts in the transfer market both outgoings and incomings. Interesting month ahead.
We have in recent years struggled to beat contenders, but we have beaten Ipswich, Portsmouth, Barnsley and Peterborough twice, with four of those wins coming by at least two goals! An aggregate of 12-1 in those five matches!
I was just posting the same in our WhatsApp group. We are in good form, especially against the top teams or teams in form, we’ve not been able to say that in League One with Ainsworth at the helm
Fantastic performance today. Best since Cambridge away last year. Our defence blocked almost every Posh shot which was particularly pleasing. Taff, Scowen, Vokes, Wheeler all had great games. And Wing phenomenal
Just in case any scouts are passing, it’s clear Anis has peaked and is on the slide. Become a big time Charlie, hanging around at The Orchard and Club Eden. Avoid.
I'm not sure today's win can get any sweeter. I can almost hear Ringing the Blues in my ears! I think this says it all (with apologies to @Vital and @bluntphil).
Well we could do with our team being strong at the back like they r and wish we could have manager like ainsworth his been there 10 years knows his job and not got same money to spend on his squad like us should our owners take note ov him
Ego Bruised Swanny aside the vast majority of their fans are having a go at their own management and team over anything else, maybe got away with one or two today but they have no problem mixing it either and their big man was definitely putting himself about early on. Get the idea in some games the ref has an early look round and says if you want a physical battle get on with it.

I think I'll have a succulent Chinese meal to celebrate.
Superb result and a great team effort.

Happy new year everyone.

What a start to the year!
Happy Days
Apparently Peterborough are blaming us for our win

Great entertainment still on offer on Wanderers TV. They’ve not switched the feed off so you can watch them editing interviews in real time!
Gary1655 is having a mare!
Remember the time they cut the feed off before the game even finished?
Now they have it deep into the evening.
Missed the whole thing, but it sounds like tremendous fun.
It never looked mad at any point
Don't ever change!!!
Happy New Year my friend
A couple of other pleasing nuggets:
We are looking better in second halves recently.
We have in recent years struggled to beat contenders, but we have beaten Ipswich, Portsmouth, Barnsley and Peterborough twice, with four of those wins coming by at least two goals! An aggregate of 12-1 in those five matches!
Let’s spare a thought for Alan Swann.
WHY
No tears now

In the post-match, Ainsworth has confirmed that Alfie jarred his knee against Ipswich. Sounds like he will be back for Sheffield Wednesday.

Now that is a relief! All eyes turn to Anis now.

Did Swann scrawl the BBC report - going on about shirt pulling - pot, kettle, black
They wish they could watch us every week

How is Josh Knight not getting a game in that powder puff defence?
Thank you sweet cheeks! Happy New Year back at ya. Catch you against the Owls.

Taffazoli with a superb save here.
Why is Grant McCann at Peterborough? Couldn’t he get better than that? I thought he was good.
Even if it was a handball, and it's a bit fast to be certain on that clip, it was 3-0 with a couple of mins left.
Heard he's angling for a move to Wycombe...
