Phil definitely said it had been confirmed that it was his 4th booking and not 5th. There was an earlier booking that was rescinded due to wrong identity.
Good win today and had a great view of McCleary's beautiful goal from our terrace down the side. He really is a special player.
I thought Jack Grimmer was outstanding this afternoon and easily our man of the match, and it was so good to have Josh Scowen back in the starting line up. We look so much better when he plays.
Just 3 points off the play offs now so hopefully we can get a little run going
Some great bbc journalism here....'Wycombe's defence failed to clear Joe Jacobson's corner and midfielder Wheeler pounced to fire in his third goal of the season through a crowded box.'
Excellent result and hopefully with even more players coming back from injury, confident we can have an exciting second half to the season. The outfield players on the bench yesterday, was certainly the strongest, I can remember for a long time. We can still make the playoffs and then who knows what can happen.
the FGR website advises to use Park and Ride from the Reinshaw factory about a couple of miles away. That's what I did, very easy, large car park, £3 per car, 2 double decker buses waiting, dropped off and picked up right outside ground
Glad to see such a performance for their trip up to my current area in the Cotswolds. I drove down with my Sister and Brother in Law to the local park and ride at Renishaw PLC South Entrance (cost £3) which was easy to find and there we met up with my Brother and Dad, and took the bus up the hill to the ground, which made us all feel in Wycombe again, as it struggled up the hill. The requirement to get all my family to come was getting five of the few seats available, which I was surprised to get not being a season ticket holder. I couldn't remember the last time if ever that I had been to a ground with them walk out of a changing room in the corner of the away end. Other than the ever bright advertising hoardings making the light variable, we enjoyed the day, and I was glad to see they had planned the Cheltenham away game for next week, so I now have my Dad staying with me so that we can make two games on the trot, for the first time in a very long time other than through my trips to Vipienne.
It was a really good first half, but as the second half wore on, I wish we could have seen some more of those strong outfield players off the bench, although with their attack so poor, for once I never felt like the opposition were getting back in it like the other second half performances I have watched this season.
One issue with the park and ride, is that we missed the first couple of buses clapping the team off, so had to wait a very long time for them to return through the traffic in the centre of Nailsworth.
Pint down in town at Egypt Mill, free parking. Brisk walk 10 mins up the hill to work off the beer, straight into the ground. Good view, good atmosphere, rubbish hot (vegan) hot chocolate. Easy walk down hill past all the traffic. And straight out of Nailsworth. One of the easiest grounds to visit.
I wasn't surprised. Having to park a mile away and get one of a handful of buses or walk does not make this "one of the easiest grounds to visit". I think most people would struggle to name a more difficult ground to travel to.
I wasn't there yesterday but did go in 2018, and my recollection was that I parked no more than 3 minutes walk from the ground, for free, and that I was down the bottom of the hill within 10 minutes of the final whistle.

Alfie Mawson received his fifth booking of the season this afternoon and will now serve a one-match ban against Cheltenham Town.
Let’s hope Chris Forino-Joseph will be fit.
A real boon to have won today. I think everyone will feel better after that. Another step towards League One safety.
Didn’t Phil mention this on comms? One of his yellows rescinded so Alfie’s still on 4? I was only half listening if I’m honest.
That is the summary of his statement.
I don’t think league one safety is in doubt.

Misread this as a positive post for a second.
Good news that Alfie will be available next weekend.
I misread that as a positive reply for a second.

Great to hear that Grimmer had a good game. Well done Jack!
Good performance overall I thought.
Josh obviously made a huge difference in the middle but I thought several players had their best game in ages.
Wheeler was probably MOTM for me and caused lots of problems getting up alongside Vokes.
Likewise, good to see Grimmer enjoy such a solid game and completely dominate that flank, often winning the ball back inside the FGR half.
Everyone seemed to play better, helped by a much more compact shape, higher press and getting bodies closer to Vokes.
McCleary's goal was a thing of beauty

I spotted that. Skysports says the same.
The BBC's standards of written journalism have gone south, but that's the PA (you'll see the same report on Sky Sports).
Was nice to see the FGR fans clapping McCleary's goal.
Just seen the goals finally, great goals ! Hopefully no more injuries this season and we really push on now
How did their player not get sent off for that challenge on Scowen that caused the scuffle?!?
GMac's goal was like something off FIFA Street. Would be GOTS if not for Gape's outrageous effort v Barnsley.
If that had been one of the last few games I’d have believed it.
Great result, well done to all that travelled
Have a look at PA Media's main shareholders (they don't call themselves the press association anymore)
Oh, I know (and they've been called that as long as I've worked in the industry, but loads still refer to them as the PA).

It shouldn't come as a surprise that the greenest football club in the world don't really cater to cars.

Wimbledon is a park a mile away job isn't it? I'm not sure if Shrewsbury is any better as parking at the ground is home only.
Lots of grounds you can't park at and you're reliant on tubes half a Mile or more away etc. With huge queues at some.
Our own ground isn't exactly superb. Yes you can park close, but it'll take ages to get out etc
Wimbledon is really easily accessible by Tube. Oxford is a right pain if you don't drive it. But yeah, we're in no position to talk!
