Like you, @Malone i read the texts. Kind of alarming reading. Would it be fair to say that we played to our strengths? At least scouts watching our star player (well, one of them) will have seen very little to excite them.
In the bad old ifollow days a fair few times I'd miss chunks at the start of the game, where my internet, laptop and ifollow all battled with each other to decide what would be the reason to delay me getting in. Generally once in you'd be fine to the end though.
Temporary stop to the rot and three points at our local rivals. 👌
Forino was the difference today in attack and defence. MOTM
Oxford had 29 shots today and we were woeful again, Oxford were just worse and with Taylor not scoring they are going to be in big trouble this season.
With no Scowen, Gape or Thompson we are going to have a very tough October and November.
Oxford offered little real threat, but for some reason we continue to play with a line about 20 yards too deep at all times. As a result we nearly threw it away again by sheer volume of balls into our box.
God knows what Kaikai must do in training if he can’t get on the pitch in a game like that when we’re crying out for some pace up front.
They were just shooting outside the area from what I watched of the second half - our defending was rock solid. Forino looked immense. Not a classic performance but a great result and something to build on.
Don’t know who was on co-comms but he said Thompson not likely back until NY whereas I heard he was close!?
Great win. Desperately need some pace around the pitch. Look very pedestrian. Hopefully we can get some of the injured players back soon. Still cannot understand why we didn’t go out in pre season and get a pacy forward either permanently or on loan.
Thompson isn't even registered as a player yet, that's how far away he is!
As for the game it was like watching two pub teams slog out their hangovers on a Sunday morning at the Rye. The quality was really pee poor apart from our two centre backs Forino & Mawson. Today however was all about the result, not the performance. It really was WWFC shitehousery at it's peak. Maybe we are going to have to watch a bit of that over the next few weeks until some of our injury list shortens?

Well done lads. That was a throwback win!
Just sent an email to the general enquiries address on the contacts page of the website.

Delighted with the win, but losing the feed for the last 15 didn't half make it a joyless way to do it.
However, let's hope that's us back on track!
Get in! Great result, if not the best performance again 2nd half!
Really pleased we ground that out.
Phew... and relax
Nice win lads
Anyone else for popcorn and the Oxford forum?

So missing the last 20mins was pretty annoying!
Still - a huge win, and onwards we go.
We are still using the iFollow feed

The main difference seems to be now you can't go backwards in the game, when before you could to rewatch.
It does seem less flakey in general though - today's obviously freak experience aside.
The fixtures ease up a bit though. It shouldn't be forgotten the run of games we've just come off.
Important win.
Two sides that look very limited indeed.

We’ve played 9 of top 12 and only 3 of bottom half as it stands. Lots of thinks to be optimistic about.
Probably nowhere near fit.
He can only have been fully fit about 10-20% of the time he's been here.
Thinking hats on all round. Creativity cravats also de rigeur.
Kaikai comes on if we are behind, but not if we are defending a lead.
I hope whoever it was is safe and well
Only seen the final score and the stats, but I can’t wait for the oppo view in the next ringing the blues!
Did you not want action from the Hawthorns?

Thompson is the one player that there's never been any prospect of even the loosest sense of the word close.
Even Gaz has said he hopes he plays a "part" in the second half of the season.

Can't do links and stuff, but great tweet from Henning Wehn ! Should wind a few Oxford fans up
Maybe we didn't realise the extent of Hanlan's injury.
And we have De Barr and Al Hamadi, who we are putting some faith in.

Sorry should've added
"Wycombe is in total control of the M40"
They’re in the top 12 because they’ve had an easy 3 points off us.
On the red kit debate....surely red vs yellow goes against the new EFL Colourblind rules whereby teams can change their kit to assist colourblind?
Anyone colourblind/in the know care to educate?
