I'd have thought a strongish team tonight. Gmac, Horgan, JJ, Forino, Kaikai all need minutes. Mehmeti often gets a half in these games A win could potentially see us qualify for the 2nd round which would indeed be useful for the squad as a whole.
Nothing Dickinson could have done with the shot - excellent finishing. Stevenage the better side in the first-half.
Wycombe finding it hard to create some consistent pressure. Good save by the home keeper from a fierce Vokes shot & a Wakely header just went past the post. Vokes off at half-time, Al-Hamadi on.
Pattenden is certainly not a right back but he looks a good footballer, with lots of potential. Still like the look of Leathers too, quite cultured on the ball, tall and quite athletic.
I'm going to push this match thread to a second page on my own if need be. I have now watched enough Papa Johns minutes to where I have gone through the looking glass into another dimension, and am existing on a mind-altering plane.
If a Gasroomer posts on a Papa Johns thread, does it make a sound?

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Winning tonight gives us a great chance of making it to round two. The more competitive games our devs can play the better.
Does Gmac’s suspension include tonight’s game?
It does not, sadly.
So can he play tonight then?

I think so. I'd give him 45 minutes to be honest. Alongside those that @Wycombe85 has mentioned, excepting the boy wonder.
Surely you play GMac the full 90 after his spell out
And as a punishment for the red!
Is he still suspended for saturday? is so then yes, probably.
Yeah surely GMac will play, no punishment, but he needs to play after a few weeks out.
GMac in the Papa Johns - now that is unfair on the opposition!
Hopefully back to 4-2-3-1
Dickinson
Pattenden Wakely Forino JJ
Young Leathers
KaiKai Horgan GMac
Al Hamadi
Looks a decent line up that, and absolutely no reason not to do it.

weird…why play Vokes?
Vokes needs some game time after injury. A confidence boosting goal wouldn't hurt.
No Freeman is a bit of a worry.
I think you could take Freeman’s absence as a positive too, maybe he’s being rested for Saturday?
Packing ‘em in at Broadhall way!
One minute you hear the drum being thrashed, next minute you hear someone shouting shut up…
1-0 Stevenage. Not the best defending.
Indeed. Let’s see if we can get back in this.
Unfortunately everytime Dickinson play, although he doesn't make glaring errors, every half decent shot on target results in a goal.

Lot of groans in this room.
Christ I know it's a tinpot cup game, but this is absolute toilet. Inability to pass the ball on the ground is shockingly bad.
I missed the announcement of this "retro night" where we play like a bog standard L2 team, but it is a clever idea.
Such a pointless competition. As long as we learn SOMETHING from this game then that's a slight win....
Well we learned that we actually CAN come back on teams when falling behind...oh wait.
(Cue 3-2 comeback win)
