Nick Freeman.
Nick Freeman
Absolutely. Faultless and fluent.
Can’t remember watching a game before where all the subs played better than any of the starters, but that was one.
I pulled the trigger too early on McLeary, as I would have gone with Freeman too.
Exact opposite @Shev here's me looking back thinking I'm being harsh on GMac, he was by far our best starter but not a whole lot of end product from him obviously
Could be a big return for us, Freeman, he looked good defensively as well as going forward.
Freeman. Adding holding midfield to an already impressive résumé.
And on the left, too. During August last year, he was extremely impressive at right wingback.
Who on earth is voting for McLeary? The guy needs a rocket up his a*se. The spark isn’t there at all currently.
Freeman just looked a class above
I have to go with the rest off you Nick Freeman looked really good when he came on as did Daryl Horgan.
To be fair I think overall Grimmer & Taffs had decent games despite being abandoned by the midfield too often.
I see last week’s sponsors voted for Tyla again.
To who ever does the poll, please remove the did not see option, it seems utterly pointless.
It's like the reviews you read that say I haven't used the product but it's been delivered successfully 5 out of 5 :(
It is because you can't see the results of the poll unless you vote.
I'd rather admit that I havnt seen it than just take a guess based on whatever other people have said.
If the ‘didn’t see’ s had done that, Nick Freeman would have collared two thirds of the votes. He must be some player.
Interesting that this should be so heavily down-voted. Do others disagree as it would seem the general consensus on the match day thread and Twitter would be of agreement?
I love the guy and unlike some don’t fault his effort but there’s no escaping he’s having minimal impact in games currently. The Plymouth game aside he hasn’t been at his sharpest for quite some time. He’s slower to take on his man than what we’ve seen previously and that’s his major weapon.
Hopefully he finds his form again ASAP as a fully firing Gareth McLeary is as good as anyone in this division.
I thought he was decent yesterday. I also think some have benchmarked his average performance against his best ones. At best he is unstoppable but mostly he keeps the ball for us, probes the defence and puts on plenty of crosses.
You can’t judge every game against his unstoppable best.
Probably our best outfield player yesterday, doesn't give the ball away much, good in the air, decent crosses.
I thought he was clearly the best starter and surprised anyone thinks otherwise
Most of those around me at the game yesterday seemed to be of the same view as myself. Similar to last week also.
Seems I must be in the vocal minority, fair enough.
The point about comparing him to his best performances may be fair, such is the benchmark he set, especially at the start of last season.
I love the man, but I thought McCleary was our worst player yesterday, and there was lots of competition. He didn't look interested at all. Freeman definitely my MOTM. I thought Vokes had a good game too
Nice to hear that Freeman caught the eye of the fans yesterday. I've always found his play a delight to watch. One of my faves and I hope he has a cracking season.
I see Mrs Vokes has voted.
Sorry @WanderingDays.
Maybe some marks for effort but he didn't offer much threat or create anything with the admittedly extremely limited service
Is this the first time Scowen hasn't got a single vote?
Already an historic season!😁
