A man worth 5.6 billion spends almost 2 million on Danes (aka 0,02% of his wealth) to ummm.......something.
It's up there with his plans to boost the crowds next season so that the 23 home games sell out with 9,500 people paying 30 quid each netting him almost 7 million which is about one day's interest on his current wealth.
People still don't seem to realise how rich Lommy is. His money goes on getting the bloke in charge of Crystal Palace's youth teams to up sticks and join us. Youth and London is where his pocket change is going. That's what seems to interest him.
I agree as I usually believe most things are cock-up (jury is still out on the recent purchases ) rather than conspiracy and talking about only having a small number of billions ignores the fact that they are like...billions...but I'm interested to know if you think the focus on Youth and London is a good thing for little wycombe @Kim_il_Swan
Nothing wrong with youth development but London is a bit ominous. Though we'll be begging for a stadium in Uxbridge when the entire team moves to Astana.
Because that's still the biggest mystery about Lommy, how exactly does moving Wycombe up the leagues benefit football in Kazakhstan? All he's said is that he wants us to have a world class academy with a branch in Kazakhstan. It seems that children over there will be able to train as footballers and then come over here to finish the job and get a place in our first team. And that will make them world class.
This must look great in Lommy's head but will it actually happen? It's going to take quite a few years to find out.

I love the money laundering talk.
