I'd forgotten about Hartridge ! Must be injured surely ? He'd start over Woodhouse I'd have thought.
I agree re Hanlan, I was always amused at how much better he became when he was out injured. I'm old fashioned, I like my strikers to score goals, he must get about 4 or 5 a season, and has a habit of being in the wrong place when needed. I also won't forget the match before he got injured, was brought on late, was still sulking about not getting the Wrexham move, and barely got into a jog. Got absolutely roasted on here for it.
This commentator is an absolute moron. "Statement win" - my arse.
We've given the competition the respect it deserves which isn't much.
Think losing now might be a positive tbh, teams desperately hanging on to unbeaten records rather than really trying to win league games never goes too well.
genuinely think he is the most overrated player in our squad , nice guy but feel he add little to the midfield. Maybe our squad is not as strong as we thought...
Really not worth reading much into that, guys. A team who barely play, let alone play with each other - it was never going to be the most cohesive performance.

Very highly - he is always a nightmare for his man one on one, and a good left wing comp for GMac.
He is still very high up the MOTM season rankings despite only starting 5 matches!
My forward power rankings:
IT'S ON LADS
Just be glad it's not £10 a game like other years. Now that was the time to question life decisions.
Don’t forget Gideon
I agree. Sadlier was class before his injury

YES!!
It's back on the cards fellas.
Note to all keepers: flap like a dying ostrich and you will get a free kick every time.
Another dire Leahy cross. He has a history with Shrewsbury, right? Did we keep the receipt?
I'd probably agree with this totally, apart from moving Sadlier down to par with Lubala, and 4th and 5th moved up.
Wheeler and Taff stood statue still there. If either is even slightly mobile it’s a tap in
I’d forgotten too. If he’s fit and not selected for tonight that’s not a good sign. He’s been poor but surely afforded a chance for redemption.
Shall we have a meltdown?
Ian Holloway has "masterminded" an "upset"? Give over.
Only caught the last minute.
Commentator was laying it on a bit thick.
Was he like that all game?
Save that for Saturday
Yep
I suspect a few there (McCarthy, Taff and potentially Wheeler) played their last game for the club tonight.
yes
more like a transfer window sale!
At least we were still quite a few rounds of the final.
Positive is not having to risk key players playing in this at all.
Negative, obviously not having an outlet for squaddies to get minutes.
Boot Shrewsbury on Saturday and no-one will remember this game though.

That was a grim watch.
Well turns out we havnt got the depth we think. I agree could be at least a couple players last game
Afraid not. Dont think extra games would help this team much. It just proves that we dont have the quality in depth.

That could be the last we see of a few players.
Good grief.

There's a mad run of 4 games in about 9 days early Jan, so that gives hope to some squaddies.
But you'd imagine a fair few ins and outs in Jan.
