If I remember Steve Williams was in goal for that game. His kicking was never the strongest and kicking into the wind he struggled to get it out of the penalty area.
Better put in my two penn’orth on weather prospects. Looks like there could be a fair bit of rain between now and tomorrow afternoon but nothing excessive. However, the WNW wind (gusting to 55 mph) will be from JJ corner towards the eastern end of the family stand - ie diagonally across the pitch which, with the wind chill making it feel like freezing point, could make the family stand a rather uncomfortable place to sit. Thermals and waterproofs recommended.
That’s ridiculous. You know how slow I am to look up information and post it? Í honestly didn’t know @Shev had already mentioned those very names until I scrolled back after posting.

As HurryKane is injured he might pop in, I'll get my coat...
This is all @EddieMonsoon's fault, him and his family of seasonal gusts.
Dwight Gayle and Dean Windass never played for us, right?

Every time I see this I can't help but think of that fantastic gig venue: KOKO
That’s amazing. How on earth do they memorise all that.
'Earls Court up in me Hatch End' is far funnier than it has any right to be
Amazing venue! Someone showed me a 'secret' staircase once that goes to a balcony I never knew existed.
It's just fantastic word play. This is another favourite: https://youtu.be/4QW-c9yk9EI?feature=shared

Not sure if it's still there, but the Purple Turtle over the road from Koko was... Interesting...
