Hang on. I thought due to a combination of live TV coverage, high ticket prices, no parking, crap beer, inattentive children, non existent marketing, lack of Bayo, antiquated toilets, expensive food and poor weather, we were on track for a sub 5,000 crowd?
I've been pondering this question; where to park, and how early. Given all the rain today the answer is obvious. I'll just tie the punt up to one of the lampposts on Hillbottom Rd.
Very impressive numbers though when this was posted we had about 700 seats available in the Frank Adams and another 300 odd in other parts of the ground.
Sadly can't make it so the TV will have to do. I hope it's one of those nights, or at least an even contest, and we get more numbers in the bread and butter stuff. COYB!
Apparently they're likely to end up ground sharing for a period and face major problems (and cost) repairing it. Multiple areas (indoor and out) were flooded.
There’s barely a puff of a breeze today but, as predicted last night, it’s a dry day (even with a few unexpected sunny spells) and everything’s set fair for what should be a really entertaining contest with little or none of the Westley/Evans “physicality”.
In the fairly unlikely event of it going to penalties, I think I would have greater confidence in Ravizzoli than in Shamal George. For both the penalties against Brighton, he seemed to just fall to his side rather than dive full length stretched out horizontally (if that makes sense).
As usual transport and parking for tonight’s game are resulting in much pre planning in my household .
option 1 : drive and park in one of the charity car parks. Does anyone know what time they will be accepting cars from ?, obviously these are known to fill up very quickly, if full on arrival then a panicked plan B has to be thrown into operation. In the past that option has included parking in John Lewis car park and walking.
option 2: park in the Eden centre car park and take the bus to AP ( I think this might be my favoured option) . How full will the buses be though if they start from the station . For - car parking at Eden after 6pm is only £1.50 . Against - bus might already be full, although could park in Eden and walk to the train station .
option 3 - park at the train station ( parking cost unknown) and then the bus from there.
Not an option tonight though, as I’m sure the barrier will come down on the JL car park before we could get back to the car, especially if there’s a penalty shoot out.

They're playing Ipswich at the weekend so can save the b team for that.
We could well be up against the current 3rd top Premier League scorer if they put out a B team!

Sometimes, even geniuses get it wrong.
This from the Godstowe (maybe at the school) weather station at 16:15 today. 109mm of rain so far today!!!
I’m really surprised but very pleased we’ve sold so many. Adams Park is special under the lights.
WOW - I take it all back. Amazing scenes...
Get there early if you want to be able to park somewhere close!!!
And a Wet Tuesday Night!
It's very pleasing that to see the classic "out for the big games" merchants do still exist, for when we make the big time next season.

I think this is for the TV cameras level with each penalty area that usually provide the angle for replays of offside decisions.

Blimey, I’d heard Wimbledon’s pitch was flooded but didn’t realise they’d turned it into a golf course.
Liz Truss's first day as AFC Wimbledon's groundswoman went well then.

You forgot the competition from the new ‘Spoons opening in Marlow tomorrow..
It’s no Revs
Moved to Newcastle.
they’ll make enough money now to pay a new pitch and buy a new team.

Tomorrow evening will be dry but quite chilly.
It’s raining heavily at present but it should ease within the next few hours and there is only a very small chance of rain tomorrow.
Current ticket availability is 673 (FA 616, Family 52, Origin 5).
A lingering chance of a rain but it looks like settled drying conditions with the wind
Also not too bad weather conditions for a late Sept evening
only draw back and challenge is the parking options for tonight
...and hoping the 3 way temporary traffic lights at the WW road end of Mill End road are gone by tonight....
oh and the queues at the bar tonight with a full house!
In true 1887 style I shall be arriving by horse and wagon.
I fully expect the media team to have a chair arch waiting for us at the gates to Adams Park.
Happy Anniversay Chairboys and girls.
There were 4 tickets left in the Origin, just bought 3 for mates so fastest finger first on the last one..

Decisons decisions!
If you park from 6pm, it'll cost you £1.05, if you park before 6pm it'll be £6.80
Parking at *john lewis* and walking? Hats off to you sir.
