I still think Birmingham are going to walk the league. They have not even clicked yet and they are pretty much the best team I have seen at this level, along with Coventry in 19/20 and Ipswich a couple of seasons back.
Second half will be interesting to see if we can keep up the work rate when substitutes come on. Hopefully so, but I fear their rotation players may be a little above ours - they ought to be given the money they spent.
Still feel we can get a creditable 2-2 draw if we can score the next goal.
Generous I think, some good players definitely but no great swagger or style, we've been totally out of games against the teams you've mentioned and posh and others but I fancy us to sneak something here.
Fair, but my rationale is that they have just met and are at 80% possession away to a very good Wycombe side. If this is them not clicking yet, the rest of the league is on notice. I would be shocked if we kept them to two goals today.
They are just missing that final ball, but 80% away from home against a team that finished 10th last season is absurd. I know games are not won on possession, but it has been hard for us to even get the ball!
Oh yeah, they spent £15m in L1 nobody has done that since AlFayeds Fulham. If it all clicks they'll piss the league but it could take months and might not happen at all, with their fans getting more impatient by the match.
Very strange subs. Pattenden in this game is perplexing. Rightfully punished. Kone off was a poor decision. Not sure how Gmac is on pitch. We’ve done ourselves justice so far though. They are excellent

Same as the other night, he was booked for not much because someone else before him had been doing it earlier
@prufrock_91 but what have each side done with their possession?
We are going to get a red today for a second yellow. Noble half, but gutting to go in 1-1.
We look much, much better without the ball than we did at Wrexham, and much more purposeful with it.
Literally just before their goal. Jinx!
Refs going to send someone off today ! Giving free kicks for nothing, and is keen to get his cards out
A second yellow for Alfie May would be nice…

lowering the bar 2 games in .

They don't look that good do they?!
We're not particularly under the cosh?

Oh Taff. Big test for Jasper this.
Birmingham players obviously briefed at half time to breathe on Taff.

Taffs missing would be a nightmare.
Deaths. Taxes. Tafazolli injured
Not much marking there, shame, we played quite well before
Bugger - think Bishop will be disappointed with that
Harvie does not convince.

Second time Jasper’s had the chance to slide that into the stands. Backed off and paid the price.
I still don't think he is a RB - he got beat a lot one-on-one during his run last season too. I think he is at his best going forward.
Jasper beaten, Luke beaten, Bish beaten.
This is so depressing.
Why in Christ’s name are we still trying to play it out of the back? It’s not worked all afternoon and still they persist.
Oh what a chance that was.
We have almost had Birmingham from their short passes so many times. One more chance!
