Lets be honest, when Adams Park was first designed and built, we had only just made it to the football league and it had a max capacity of 6,000. Since then we have grown as a team, achieved things that wouldn't have been thought of while the stadium was being built.
It's clear that the stadium is bordering on not being fit for purpose. If we are going to be a consistent Championship level club, either plans need to be drawn up to improve the stadium and we need to be proactive in making these changes or actively look at other sites or venues.
If we had to move ground for a short about of time, where would we go? Reading? MK? QPR?
Let’s build a 20,000 capacity stadium on what is now the common and convert the Holmer Green FC ground and surrounding area into a car park. Not multi-storey so not a blot on the landscape - at least until we’re in the Premier League.
I had flashbacks just looking at this, could Bing add a younger version of me making a hasty escape across the pitch chased by a half a dozen Essex apes.

Come on chaps (and hopefully the odd chapess - @SmiroludyBlue for sure), let’s get back on track even if it’s uneven and unmetalled.
Sorry, who was responsible for the most recent derailment?

I’d rather play 46 away games
Nottingham seems to be a rich enclave for Chairboys fans, although which side of the river to choose might be a hot topic.
Wishaw
We couldn't play at Reading anyway, as their fans would give us death threats over bringing money into their club.
For me personally, Holmer Green or Amersham would be bloody handy !

Access roads abound in that area. What a dream.
Knock down John Hampden and build it there. Easy access to the M40 & A404 to reading/wycombe
Apparently all the private schools are going to close on July 5th - must be one with enough land for a football stadium and parking
Missed the boat with the massive development opposite a few years ago.
And even the land opposite the cinema.
Though that junction can already be manic, so imagine the carnage a football ground up there would cause.
No! Knock down RGS as it's now only the 4th best Boys Grammar School in the area behind JH, Dr Challoners & SWB (according to Ofsted)
At least we could have a pitch with a slope substantially greater than the one at Loakes Park.
This what AI gave for 'Futuristic stadium for Wycombe Wanderers'.
A bit drab, and looks like a capacity of roughly 220,000, a bit more than we will need. Let's stick with AP.
That’s MK Dongs stadium, isn’t it?
No parking, so pretty accurate.
Photo from the future, Half time in the unsuccessful 3028 home leg play off semi final. Hoping it's fake and they go bust long before.
if that's just one massive roundabout round the outside then it's very Wycombe
AI depictions of football stadiums are, without fail, utter gash
I tell a lie, I asked Bing AI to show a mock-up of a new ground for Col U and it came up with this impressively accurate image
That's brilliant! Can we all agree to call them Colchester Untied from now on? It seems to suit them, like a pair of pants that keeps dropping down.
Colchiie3ter Untied
Left side: “my garden shed”
Rightside (taking counterpoint) “my garden shed”
Left side: “is better than this”
Right side (still on counterpoint) “is better than this”
All “my garden shed is better than this”
All “it’s got a door and a window, my garden shed is better than this”
