Don't forget to pick up your copy of the brand new edition of The Wanderer - out today (as long as the rain isn't enough to drown someone) and available only from the WWISC table on the left hand side of Hillbottom Road, just before you reach the Adams Park gates - FREE to all WWISC members and just £2 for everyone else.
I've been thinking along those lines. Even if the management haven't given that instructions, who could excuse the players for doing their best to avoid potential injury this weekend.
Wow...could not find anywhere to park! Back home after driving around the mean streets in tne rain. So I am 'there' but they are also getting an extra tenner from me.
Get well soon @Malone...my knowledge of the area is quite limited and as traffic was heavy with a lot of angry people not that patient with someone rubbernecking for spaces and I did not want to back into a space the size of a mini in an already packed car park, l decided to head for home. My own fault I should have headed out (even) earlier than I did. I suspect I will have to move into the road leading to AP if we ever get promoted!
Any crowd over about 7,000 always feels a little uncomfortable around the area, so you can only imagine the carnage sell outs every week would have caused.
Probably sending the same single bus in too.
It was against Portsmouth once they were overwhelmed with demand and just cut out the stop at the Park n Ride at the top of Marlow hill. Leaving us who'd parked there with 2 decisions - take the bus to the station, then walk back up to the car, or 2 - the even sillier idea of wait an hour for the bus to do a first trip out, and then back!
In hindsight, i'd have picked option 3 - just get walking up New Road and go direct to the car in the first place.
ps thankful for the option of watching home games online - not as good as being there, but a brilliant 2nd option for the occasional miss.

Thanks and enjoy the game. COYB!
Down a shot every time you encounter the phrase "I'll take a draw today"
(Warning: You'll be full LX1 by kickoff and will be on here blaming a Masonic conspiracy if we lose)
I'll take a draw today, as that will gain me some points in the prediction table.
But I'm really hoping that we will put out our strongest possible starting XI, and carry on the winning streak.
As for LX1, it appears that the whole world is part of a conspiracy against him.
Be nice.
Can we watch on wanderers TV today? (without a VPN)
I assume so, the Wrexham game is on TV with a 3pm kick off
Yep https://www.wwfc.com/news/2024/march/25/pompey-fixture-available/
I think we might win today
Tremendous. Hadn't spotted that.
KONE
Thoroughly deserved start for Kone. He must be pinching himself. He could be the unorthodox option we need against very capable opposition.
Big test today. I wish we weren't coming into it after two weeks off. Get through the first twenty and see what happens.
COME ON!
Portsmouth forum are hoping we will take it easy because of the BSM Trophy being so close.

I had a spell parking the other side of West Wycombe road, borderline Downley. Was it even full up there?
Having said that, i'm joining you online today, international pass being used for a home league game for the first time due to some ills.

I got there a bit earlier than usual at 12.45 and managed to get parked but it was dicey even then.
Has got markedly harder to park since the Millbrook option disappeared.
Thanks, and fair enough.

Which end is the “drummer” in?
Definitely Millbrook was an excellent option. Them Dashwoods need to sell us a bit of green we can concrete over.
I believe he has been banned from Adams Park
I said you should get on your bike!
Bum
FFS piss poor defending
Gulp. We need to keep the score down here.
Not Bum
Or score!
Excellent goal.
