There’s a twitter account that tweets articles from newspapers about topical changes in societal attitudes, norms and behaviours, and then tweets articles with basically the same comments going back every 20 or so years until the early 20th century. Basically in every generation older people always think younger people are badly behaved.
Man with a bike used to regularly get on at Stoke Mandeville and travel to Chalfont (last open Station) when challenged one day he announced in a loud voice to the ticket inspector that he was a good friend of the Chiltern Railways chairman...did he want to ring him? Inspector decided on a penalty fare...carriage applauded. Man stormed off. Rules are for the rest of us fools.

I'm still yet to receive a tangible definition of class.
I've asked so many people and no-one seems to have the answer!
Lower class is travelling on a train without a ticket and the guard calls the police
Upper class is travelling on a train without a ticket and the guard apologises to you
