More importantly, what will having Premier League training facilities do to our lot? Will they refuse to play at Adams Park as the facilities are beneath them now?
Today will probably be a repeat of last week. A win but leaving everybody a bit unsatisfied.
I see there's no mention of Joe Low's availability in the club's preview. Bit strange, as he's been selected in the Wales squad for the Euro play-offs.
Team News
David Wheeler remains suspended, but Chris Forino returned to the squad in midweek following an injury and is available for selection. Garath McCleary missed the win over Wigan with a knock and will be assessed ahead of the game. Saxon Earley has undergone surgery on an ankle problem and as such won't feature for the Chairboys, with his loan from Plymouth expiring at the end of the season. We wish him well for his recovery.
Maybe we should try it the other way around... Stick eleven men behind the ball in the first half to conserve energy and tire the opposition, before unleashing the full force of our lethal attack after the break?
Or we could just go 1-0 up and defend for our lives as usual.
100%. I’ve been thinking along those lines for some time. Apart from anything else, the opposition would be totally thrown from their original game plan. Once the change became known we could switch back to Plan A. Perhaps, to disguise our intentions, we could toss a coin pre-match to decide which approach to adopt for that particular match.
That would be great but, our all out attacking approach for most of the first half of games must take a lot out of players.
To do as you suggest would mean displaying greater confidence in the likes of Kodua and Koné than BM has shown until now. Reservations have been expressed on here about Koné’s readiness to track back and defend but, during the attacking stage of a game, he shouldn’t be expected to do too much of that.
There was an article from a Plymouth local paper suggesting he had had a further significant injury requiring surgery on the same ligament that he was in the process of recovering from after a prior injury.

Thank good, now we can talk about football.
god even
Anyone know what sort of training facilities The Cobblers feel is appropriate for a middling League One club?😉
Goodness even.
Anyone care?
Irony rarely works in print, it would seem😉
Sorry about that, @perfidious_albion.
My left knee has inexplicably and very painfully seized up and, as a Burnley supporting acquaintance said when we beat them 5-1, I’m not best pleased.

Is it possible to purchase a ‘first half only’ ticket? If so is that half price based on 45 minutes or double price based on entertainment value?

Win today and we could finish the day in the top half of the table. Possibly even as high as eleventh.

I think we're pretty safe now. Can we please just take the shackles off and play for the whole 90 mins ?

Does anyone know if Earley was injured when we signed him and it was just more serious than feared, or he got injured in training with us?

Brighten up, we all need this every other week as our relief from normal day matters and the threat of Putin pressing the button.
Keep smiling we are pretty much safe and have a day out at Wembley 😀😀😀😀.
Excellent 😁😁
That's a side worthy of a world class training facility!
Where is Joe Low?
I realise there are more important things going on (do WWFC shit in the Bearwood), but where is Joe Low?
Happy Kodua Day, everyone!
The first installment on the £25 million?
Injured
Ok but why named in the Wales squad?
they probably didn't ask: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68565571
Welsh FA all over the place, recalled Aaron Ramsey at 33 without informing his club. Probably didn’t check if Joe was fit!
Scowen out. Not too fussed now we have pretty strong options in the middle
