Of course if you speak to my father’s generation they will tell you that the boomers were a bunch of long haired, pot smoking hippies and the only mistake his generation made was not clipping their ears enough.
I find it as irritating as the next boomer when pop stars say their new album is about their anxiety but I try to avoid being piers morgan or the man on the train on Hard Days night. Each generation has its own trials however 'easier' life may be for them.
Yes I agree. I just rattled together 3-5 fairly obvious points at the obvious target market. There has to be scope to involve discounted tickets to friends and family of our women’s team. We should be showing face at their games in return. We still need to do a lot of work in the Muslim community which I’ve touched on previously. Maybe we should be working closely with Bucks MIND charity. Offer to help some of the people who rely on MIND’s support. Dish out tickets there. Cheap positive PR but more importantly supporting an excellent local charity and boosting attendance of marginalised groups. There are so many obvious things like these that the club appear to do nothing with. I appreciate bandwidth is limited. The club isn’t heavily staffed like larger football clubs might be. I just think we aren’t even scratching the surface at the moment.

Some good stuff here although a bit focused on 'lads' - need to think of other youth sections
Probably forget the free booze though - can't imagine that would be a PR win! Anyway, I'm always reading that the young don't drink anymore...

I saw @frequentstander 's response to @DevC and thought, like Sgt Wilson ..was that wise?
Free ketamine might win the youth vote as that's the drug of choice for today's youngsters.
Or call 5-3-2 'virtual ketamine'

Losing @ChasHarps and gaining this gadge is like losing Keith Scott and gaining Trevor Aylott. Only much, much worse.
And you turned out so well because of it.
Laughs.
I can't believe he's been tolerated for so long - especially after that shameful episode.
Could have a "limbs lounge" where the yoof can get utterly wasted and shout at each other and generally have a bundle.
That role that Keogh plays could be called the K Hole. For several reasons.
