MB is between a Roque(fort) and a hard place when it comes to pleasing fans and making realistic signings, there's Stilton(nes) of time left but he's Gouda make a decision at some stage.
They have been issued with a winding up petition from HMRC, yet the first team squad have all flown off to Alicante for warm weather pee-season training. Amazing!!!!
See Lloyd Jones seems to have picked Charlton, people don't like to admit it but MB has a difficult job selling the club, can't be easy competing against ex Prem clubs with more £ and bigger crowds. Have to hope there are still prospects out there who want the opportunity.
Wycombe is a hard sell. We love MB, he’s a legend, a gentleman, an intelligent guy, but he’s not a big character and he’s unproven. Cash wise we can’t compete. And the kudos of playing for Wycombe v some of the bigger clubs in our league is also going to be an issue.
Agreed, but the positives are proximity to London (loanees not facing a temp move) and the pleasant surroundings of the rolling Chiltern / Thames Valley, just ask Big Sam (V not A) if he prefers Marlow to the five towns! Oh and all round decent blokes ( no room for twats in the squad), actually thinking about it that criteria possibly excludes quite a few available released players?

There's stiltons of fun to be had here.
I just red Leicester have sold James Maddison
@bluntphil - are we planning on joining a new EFL 7-a-side league we are yet to hear about? Would make this window make complete sense

I hear that JJ was born near Caerphilly! Boom!!!!
This year's transfer window can't be worse than the Stinking Bishop saga last year.
They are not fond (of Man) ue.
I'm starting a rumour that we are interested in Zola's grandson, Gorgon
... and an Italian defensive pairing, Parmigiano & Reggiano,

Worcester worse that could happen?
Wigan signing a player. Does that just leave us in league 1 without a new signing?
I don't think Reading have?
It’s cheesey when you know how.
After Wigan Reading has to be least financially secure place of employment in league 1. We might be able to find a player soon.
1st July tomorrow. I hear many (most) clubs financial year starts then - which also aligns with player contracts ending at the end of June.
I’m completely unsurprised nothing has been announced by us yet, and if anything does, it will be from the start of next week.
Apparently Reading have about 8 players of their own, are facing a big points deduction and have a tonne of trialists.
Compared to them we're having a magnificent summer.
A LackLeicester effort.

Pee-training 💦, @Blue_since_1990 ?
How do you slightly withdraw?
Actually, don't answer that.
You've goat to brie joking. We should only be signing players that make us feta.
Comte the end of the season we will all be saying...."Jarlsberg don't make football teams, but if they did......"
Come on you blue veiners!
The last time we had barely any players around this time it turned out rather well.

As it stands. Hmmmm.
Let’s hope it works out better for Lloyd than it did for the last defender who chose Charlton over Wycombe.

That criteria. @perfidious_albion: slapped wrist.
