As much as I'd love this to happen, surely we don't stand a chance? Potts is surely heading to the Championship this season. He's far above League One level.
So we are linked with Freddie Potts from a reliable source. Portsmouth also interested. Highly likely he doesn’t return but … imagine … ? Dare to dream?
Why is it always such a definitive "no" from the ITKs when the dreamers (I include myself) mention Nige's name hopefully in the loan conversation? He isn't in Wolves' squad, and not mentioned anywhere that I can see being linked with anyone. FFS, release him from his purgatory and bring him home... We have so much love still to give...!!!
I'd love Lonny and Potts. I think the issue is that even if they don't make the Prem squads, they both have the talent to make the step up to a Champo loan. Going back to Wycombe might happen for someone whose development appears to have stalled a little (like Chem Campbell's second visit) but for those with serious aspirations of making the first team at their parent club, it's hard to see a redux.
I'd be as happy as anyone if all of the above turned out to be wrong, though!
It's as if they don't even realise they're already legends here, and that in 10 years time will be having a benefit match against a combined West Ham/Wolves XI... The greatest joint-testimonial since Bodger and Maskell.
Part of me thinks we desperately need a center back. Part of me wonders what the point is of having a B team system is we don’t trust guys like Skura and Taylor Clark.
I have watched Declan Skura two or three times now and, although he hasn’t been up against full strength League One opposition, I’ve been impressed by his calmness on the ball, positional sense and his confidence in pushing forward.
He looked pretty solid against Wimbledon Reserves. I thought one of Wimbledon’s best players was James Tilley (no. 7), an attacking midfielder who played wide left and cut inside into the box a couple of times. Not sure if Skura was the defender marking him but, if so, he did a good job.
Bugiel when he came on after 73 minutes (on the right) was of course a different kettle of fish, having scored on average every other League game last season and grabbing the winner on Tuesday.
Rumour from a Grimsby Town journalist that we’re interested in centre-back Harvey Rodgers, who is currently playing for them live on Sky away at Notts County.
The Mariners are trailing 2-0 to an offside goal and a handball goal.

Imagine Potts returning.
No one would pan that signing.
Any more signings being discussed @kipper . Humphreys is a good start but we need one or two more IMO.

Hope he doesn’t end up at Oxford. 🤦🤦
He could well do, of course. Out of London but eminently commutable.

Still 10 days for the window to yield some excitement. The Premier League is still shuffling their pack and we will then get the surpluses.
Potts - this time last year I laughed in the face of a friend who said he had heard a rumour about a guy called Potts from West Ham. So who knows
Kudoa - I thought this was more realistic but it’s a competitive market. Who knows what the thinking is from all parties.
West Ham is one of many clubs who have some great kids ready for experience. I’m just hoping they are more Potts and less Bracken in terms of impact.
Bracken is sure to become a fern favourite with fans.
Very few of us were frond of Bracken
For his sake I hope he turns over a new leaf.

Time for bed.
Any other incomings being working on @kipper ?

Skura did really well the other night.
Based on Tuesday Skura looked more assured than Hartridge.
Definitely work being done. if that comes to anything who knows, I think it's been a hard summer going on the lack of business we have done so far

…and Rodgers has just scored. Grimsby Town 3-1 down at half-time.
This is some fine contribution to the cause if you're actually watching that game rather than reading updates!
Rodgers has been on trial at Wycombe before, he featured in the July 2016 friendly at home to Brentford as a trialist.
A 27 year old league 2 defender doesn't really set my excitement alight I must say.... but what do I know? I couldn't tell you anything about the lad.
If he does sign, a quick reminder of the old club rule that anyone with the surname Ro(d)gers must be called "Ted" at all times.
He’s made 176 league appearances, 103 in League One for Accrington Stanley.
Which is enough reason for ...

@kipper Is there talks of movements going both ways, In and out of the club?
