Sorry, @DJWYC14 I've seen Hanlan struggling to be a centre forward and the tactical shift forced on us as some of our top players have been out but not sure I've been clever enough to see the Bloomfield way as yet. If Vokes and McLeary play I'll look out for the new style this weekend.
I know it seems crazy now, but unlike us some posters actually didn't applaud at all @davecz and complained endlessly about people watching and supporting a manager with no tactical skill through rose-tinted glasses.
Whilst we’ve observed a purple patch with set pieces recently, it is worth noting that over a larger sample size (since we narrowed the pitch), our set pieces (primarily corners) have been less threatening. I do wonder if there is more than just correlation at play there …
With regards to the pitch size at AP, it was the same size as the old Wembley Stadium's pitch when we moved in. I might be completely imagining this, but I'm sure Sanchez had the pitch widened to give Jocky McSporran more room to run into. I don't know if it was put back to the original "Wembley" dimensions after Sanchez left, but Ainsworth had the dimensions reduced to the minimum permissible by Football League regulations.

While the positivity is lovely on here (we must have won last game!), the key stat will obviously continue to be points per game.
Not how lovely he is, or the amount of "Ball" played etc.
Blooms' style emphasises space, so I think it goes without saying that we'll widen the pitch.

We should keep it narrower only on the left hand side to help JJ
Maybe grow the grass really long in that bit just in front of him so people can't get a run on him, few trees?
And become the first club to have to repaint the pitch at half-time

I do find it a bit odd that pitches don't all have to be the same size
The only other major sport I can think of like that is baseball. Cricket maybe too?
Definitely cricket - they're not even all the same shape
And some have a tree within the playing area.
Boxing rings aren’t even a standard size and this is often a major negation point for big fights - ‘punchers’ = smaller / ‘dancers’ = larger.
