  • The is a great point @TheDancingYak Personally I don't have any animosity towards the the football club now they're under new ownership. Some of the fanbase though must bare responsibility for their part in the carnage Morris created. When we found ourselves staring into oblivion under Steve Hayes, we protested against his spending, his outlandish plans and held him to account. Derby fans seemed to revel in the mess they were getting themselves into until it was far too late. The "football community" was quick to rally around the Derby County cause in a way they seemed far more reluctant to do for Bury, Macclesfield etc.

    I do appreciate that many Derby fans are keen to move on, but walking down Hillbottom Road after the game on Saturday, it's clear that there is still a good number of Derby fans who don't want to move on and would rather vent their anger at anyone who in their minds were somehow to blame for all this. Their rage should have been directed at Morris whilst this wrongdoing was going on.
