I am not upset about Chem as a backup. He did score 3 times in 17 games for us last season, with many of those appearances being off the bench. I am concerned he did not manage a single assist, and he did seem to try to beat the same man too many times, but as a backup to Sadlier I am fine with it.
I apologise if I’m mistaken, but due to your earlier posts I ktake it that is your attempt at sarcasm and you don’t rate a 21 year old who has played in the PL? Sadly, when people stop buying season tickets we don’t have the funds to make a bid for Kevin De Bruyne.
I was there, the joy of an OAP keeping a clean sheet was tempered by the despicable attitude of the Plymouth ‘fans’ towards the injury of our young keeper that gave Baz his last moment of glory.
is it? yeah because Blue word has a number at the end ? I am sure you will find a reasaon to throw. People off the group because they don't conform to your views .
Ex-international “Danny” Wallace played half a game for us. Sadly almost certainly already suffering early MS symptoms and didn’t impress. Little bit of trivia Daniel or Danny was not part of his real name.
Yes I’m pretty sure he has said his symptoms came on around 93 when he went on loan to Millwall so a couple of years before his half a game for Wycombe.
I've been fortunate to be at a number of those, "I was there" moments down the years. That was a great day at Plymouth, brilliant atmosphere.
I missed Maine Road as I was studying in Cardiff and just couldn't make it work. I also missed the Slough match with loads of people on the Woodlands in 1993. I'd only just started supporting around then and I'm not sure my older brother (5 years older) wanted his annoying little brother there with him!!!
Selhurst Park was the ultimate I was there moment for me. Maine Road was brilliant, Filbert Street mad but I have never experienced anything like Selhurst Park. It felt like I had 20 cans of Red Bull after the game, I could have run home I had so much adrenaline. Didn't even bother going to bed when I got home, just sat watching SkySports News until work.
Filbert Street for me. Amazing stories on that day. Little old Wycombe into FA Cup semi-final. Essendoh, Laurie watching on a TV from under the stand. Singing all the way home - amazing. I floated through the next two weeks or so.
I agree with you regarding Selhurst Park, quite the most exciting and frankly unbelievable game I’ve ever seen. Nothing will ever top that game. Our support that night was incredible!

All roads lead to Carlos Lopez. Well he may have more minutes than some but how..watching him live at Cambridge was one of those "I was there moments"

just thought of another 'I was there' moments (I wasn't there sadly)...Baz Richardson

Yes will be interesting to see how they all fit into the match day squad !
It's Richie...he's been not coming because the manager is crap for years.

It’s not Richie, it’s @Wanderer82 / @DevinesWanderers80 and various other imaginative usernames with a number on the end.

Zzzzzzzzzzzz
Must admit I always thought that the various name/number combinations were all post-Richie reincarnations.
Makes me wonder what did happen to them now.
Me too. Perhaps Richie did really stop coming because the manager was so crap in L2.
Still waiting for that keeper he claimed was signing before the play off final v Southend

Are you one of those very peculiar individuals who always thinks they're being cancelled when they're not?
I think they just don't understand that IP addresses can identify the same individual using multiple usernames or email addresses!
I'm trying to find a reason to throw.

Good player

And the great Paul McCarthy !!!!

I only missed 4 games out of 61 in 2001. Three of them as I was playing cricket!
What a great season that was, loads of memories...
Carlos Lopez has recently blagged his way onto an undergraduate maths course at Cambridge using notes he 'acquired' from a friend.
