This reminds me of the time I found a Venezuelan pressing of Dancing on the Ceiling with all the titles translated (unfortunately the actual songs weren't...)
Hope not, to me it felt an absolutely miserable atmosphere for such a big game in the FA.
And the sound?! Fuck me but how hard is it to have the music encourage an atmosphere without killing it? Can’t even hear the line ups being announced anymore. Maybe the sound at the club is organised by that bass player in the band in the tent a few months back.
Never even heard the terrace sing once but maybe because I had lost my hearing by then.
And don’t even get me started on how long it took to leave the stand at the end.
Oh and whilst I’m having a rant - the knob who threw something at the Wednesday player, let’s hope your school don’t find out.
Can confirm there was barely a song from the terrace - where the music was also LOUD. It was a horrible atmosphere in there - utterly toxic, but that might have been down to day-trippers souring things.
Shame to hear this @ReturnToSenda . BTW I wanted to give your message a thumbs down - for the atmosphere not your message! So left it with no thumbs up / down 😂
Apparently SWFC had just over 2800 at yours as they were given an extra allocation. It seems we won't be afforded the same courtesy which is a shame, We've sold out every away allocation, including all extra allocations, thus far this season and I expect that to continue right to the end of the season with the possible exception of Plymouth which has now been moved to a Tuesday due to our continued involvement in the FA Cup.
We're both doing well. WW on the verge of the playoff places. I'm very surprised we are 4th, much higher than I had anticipated this season. 3 weeks before the opening game of the season, we had 5 players. We had lost more than a dozen at the season's end, players out of contract and we weren't allowed to offer them new deals. Free agents and free loans (we aren't allowed to pay transfer/loan/agent's fees this and next season and we have an £8K wage cap) came in. Midtable was my expectation and that was how we started. Then we got Paul Warne in and we've done pretty well under him. The one defeat in the past 17 games was a penalty shootout defeat in the League Cup at Anfield. 16 League games without defeat is some going. Downside is we've drawn too many but that's football for you. I'm enjoying the ride so far.
Will Wycombe make the top 6? Whatever happens, enjoy your season.
Looking at the comments from Derby fans in that link just goes to prove its the right thing to do, not giving them anymore, some are just out for trouble.

I think we need to see this..
The gatefold is quite magnificent

What is all this hullabaloo?
I once saw something like this when I was an underage drinker in the Gate pub. But it's now a carpark so verification is impossible
Which ironically is my tinder profile
A patron dressed like that, or the album sleeve?
Let's just say I learnt not to ask for a go on the bar billiards table that night
This is a thing of beauty. Can't stop staring at it
They're not splitting for Derby
Hopefully never again, FA stand was a shambles again on Saturday
Why can’t I buy tickets in Block C or M then?
@ReturnToSenda where did you see it announced that there would be no split for derby?
I can only think of two reasons for having your legs that far apart and one of them is medical .

I don't think there's another club they'd feel the need to do it for this season

I've been in the terrace for well over 10 years now and Saturday sticks out as the worst experience I've ever had in there.

Love the use of the phrase "day tripper" being applied to a Wycombe home game.
Are we becoming big time?
It certainly was.
