Ridiculous argument. As a company/business, given the world that we live in, money is better spent on giving yourself a reputation. That starts on the pitch.
I appreciated the effort made to make the visiting kids and families have a sense of occasion and I very much enjoyed the wonderfully positive spirit of them in the away stand. Daytime fireworks aren't for me but, as has been said, it's not always about me (even if it should be). I saw a girl and her family in the shop afterwards. She found a Golden Ticket in her fun bag or whatever it was. For that, she gets to be a mascot at a future match. They couldn't have been happier.
That's now twice I've unwittingly seen this band. Undoubtedly talented musicians, but their fusion of Jazz/ska is an absolute irritation of the ears. All credit to a local band, playing there own stuff in quite a unique style, but for me personally the end product is painfully annoying.
But I'm probably not the best judge as I found Jamiraqai to have the same affect on me, that I wanted to cover my ears, and they sold millions.
Honestly no idea, Micra. But, if you love bass (and a seriously tight brass section, and all-round topnotch musicianship and production), I fancy you'll care for this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-UBcxKiS550

I couldn't give a toss about fireworks.
What I do give a toss about is the Football Association Cup.
If this isn't understood. There will be violence

Money is better spent prioritising the FA Cup. If you don't understand that you don't understand football
That's quite the straw man!
He was good on that bass, mind. It's not often I attend meaningfully to the music in the tent but he caught my ear.

That Jamiraqui ridiculous hat thing looked too much like the Poxford badge for my liking.
Excellent on the bass but the sound level was not
One of those bass players who is technically excellent and really wants you to notice too.
Less is more.
Got me intrigued now. Love bass. What was the name of the group, please. I’ll have a listen on YouTube Music.
