  • Me and @LX1 were there! Nice localish one. 56 more to own up...

I always remembered us putting in a decent performance that night, clawed back a late equaliser, then Danny Senda came up with a priceless own goal to ruin it. Sticks in my mind for some reason that both sides were managerless by the end of the night.

  • Your memory is better than mine. All I remember is the news that Sanchez had gone and great difficulty locating the ground from the station. I walked into a very 'local pub' and enquired the best way to the stadium. Think that film where the juke box cuts out and everyone turns round to stare.

  • I think I'm mixing up my Tranmere aways come to think of it

Anyone any idea what our record away crowd is? For a league game.

Record low by the way was 58 when we lost at Tranmere 30 September 2003 - the night Sanchez was sacked.

I was at Accrington on a wet Tuesday in about 2014 or 15 and I’m not sure there were 50+ in that open end that night! 1-1 draw if memory serves.

I went with a few of my mates (4 or 5 of us). Got a call after getting out the Mersey tunnel saying Sanchez has gone.

  • Weren’t Smith and Sanchez both sacked on 30th September? Or was it Smillie?

We won't sell it out, not with it being a 12:30 kick-off

We will sell it out with ease if the last game is a must win to get in the play-offs

  • What kind of ‘must win’?

  • A rather surreal night from memory!
