    Fair enough, but I think honestly if most people read the thread back and understand the guy was genuinely after a ‘lift’ if possible, and politely asked, then they would think most people who posted sounded like tossers.

    You are well off the mark there @username123, I actually suggested the bus as I sincerely thought that the suggestion may well be helpful.
    Maybe some people fail to see the good in this world in our days.

    Given that the OP only seems to have made the one post and then never seemingly returned to check whether anyone responded I doubt that they are too concerned about anything anyone has said on this thread.

    I believe it is possible to read all of the posts on this forum without logging in, so Gary could have monitored responses frequently with no record that they did.
