Somewhat surprised not to see more support for Thompson. From where I was (on the terrace), he was the only player on the team to do his job and do it well throughout the game. Kept us in it with his doggedness. As my spectating partner put it, "20/20 for Thompson - he had to do two men's jobs - ad about 0/10 for the rest."

Very harsh on Obita, and Vokes.
Yes. Not zero, clearly. But a shocking defensive performance and, to our eyes where we were, an immense one by Thompson.

Can I vote for Alfie May?
Make that two votes for May
May was phenomenal wasn’t he.
Otherwise can we have "I would rather have not seen" option...
Abstaining this week.
We needed nine Obitas and one Vokes today.
Sometimes, despite disappointment, you have to acknowledge a brilliant performance. That will go down as the stuff of legend from opposing teams.
Seriously though I thought for us Obita was probably the pick of the team followed closely by Vokes, Kikai & Horgan
Obita for me. Vokes was close second. I bet he was well pissed off today!
I went Kaikai btw. Faded a little before being subbed but he really shone in that position.
I went Obita, but amazed Vokes has not had a single vote so far.

Alfie May's touch to pluck that ball out of the air before lobbing Stockdale was absolutely sublime. Premier League quality
Agreed, unlike every element of the play of the two defenders and goalkeeper that made it possible for him to do it.
I don't think the keeper is to blame. Where do you want him, on his line?
Considerably closer than he was, yes. A colossal misjudgement on his part to be where he was, imho.
Well, you're entitled to that opinion. But you're wrong
By inference, you say he was in position A?

Kaikai for me
Yes Thompson was decent today, but not his usual assured self and got caught on the ball too often in the second half when we went all kamikaze.
Obita. His two goals aside, that ball into the box for Vokes to score at the back post was sublime.
I thought Obita played well but you can't have a defender MOTM when you let in 5 goals just out of principle
Vokes for me but I thought the front line were all good today that wind was a bugger
May was being pushed wide by 2 defenders - yes i would have preferred him closer to his line really
Horgan? Surely doesn't get near any man of the match talk. Even 4th!
Ah @Malone we all see something different don't we
Vokes... not even close for me. Wonder how people see the game differently
Alfie May for me.
