Not sure how I’ve missed this but just wanted to send belated best wishes to you @railwaysteve
I am very glad to hear via @railwaybeth that the operation went well and I hope you make a speedy recovery and are back celebrating at Adams Park very soon.
Thank-you all so much for all the kind words. My mum went to see Steve today and she says he's awake and talking , although he's not up to very much more than that! She also said he was delighted to hear that the fine folk of the Gasroom were thinking of him
Greetings from Papworth and many many thanks for all the best wishes and support. You have all helped me tremendously.
They are pleased here with my progress. Probably be discharged home on Tuesday.
I will be listening to @bluntphil for today's game. Come On You Blues!
Excellent news, you could have made it to the ground today @railwaysteve. There's a heavy police presence (I counted 4 horses in addition to numerous plodders) keeping the roads clear.
We may be at cross purposes there @Twizz. I was thinking it might be a touch too soon for @railwaysteve to travel from Histon (?) to Wycombe two days after being in intensive care. Sense of humour failure on my part perhaps.
Just caught up with this thread having not been on the non-football bit of the site for a while, lovely news and wishes from the club and everyone, hope everything is going well.

Bit of a stretch @Twizz !
Yes, excellent news @railwaysteve.
Why else would we have needed such a large police contingent?
