For the record, as much as I'd love both to go down, If I had to choose just one it would be MK. Hopefully they then go bust and go back to non league where they should've started in the first place !
Next season could for only the 3rd time see WWFC, PNL and Reading are in the same league. And for the first time ever The 3 genuine and 1 illegimate clubs in the Thames Valley area, could be competing in the same division.
Crikey! Just logged on. What a night @LX1 must have had but at least I didn’t have to plough my way through all of the 22 new comments that were indicated.
Following @floyd‘shelpful reminder that Adam Leathers is on loan down the road at Maidenhead, I had a butchers at recent National League results to see if he’d featured at all. Not in the most recent match against Barnet anyway. But I had no idea how perilously close to relegation the Magpies had become.
All hinges on the last games of the season on Saturday evening. Maidenhead would need to lose their game away to Gateshead and Torquay beat Wrexham by eight clear goals for Torquay to survive and Maidenhead to be relegated.
I believe there have been one or two remarkable last game of season matches at Plainmoor but that scenario might be a stretch too far.
As much as people seem to revel in the demise of these clubs, you can't tell me come a random Saturday next season most of us won't be secretly grateful to have a 30min drive rather than a 4hour trek to Morecambe or Accy.

@drcongo
Vacuum of sanity
Whoever made up the shev account
Hats off
Fell for it big style
Must qualify this is shev quote
@Shev isn't real. Don't kill yourself.
Really need to introduce a time based lock on the LX account.
Good night @LX1 ?

Even if Derby stay in the playoffs I cannot see them getting by any of that lot to the final myself.

MK isn't really Thames Valley, is it?
tell that to the police.

"secretly" doing some heavy lifting there
Just seen that Gavin Bazunu took a total of 13 minutes over goal-kicks vs Arsenal last week. Levels Stocko would envy.
MK isn't real
Real*MK Dongs. Has a ring to it. And I don’t mean ding dong 🛎️
*Pronounced Ray Al, of course.
If MK go bust, after falling out of the football league in a couple of years, would the GB hockey team get to take over the MK stadium?
Now that would be ironic (and equally hilarious).
This could get ugly.
City just scored from a move which started with a hoof. If it's good enough for them...
@micra sampled vodka for the first time in years. It's a great boost
The binary attitude of football supporters' attitude to tactics is fascinating
There's lovely double negative and lovable stuff here
Well, the title race was fun while it lasted.
More annoying, as it turns out.
Not even men against boys. Grandfathers against toddlers?
Their remaining games could see them come closer to 3rd than 1st.
It was always utterly inevitable that they won big trophies the season their 100+ charges came to light.
Also inevitable that Big Pep is managing the richest team in some other league by the time the charges are heard.
What does 'utterly inevitable' mean?
