They certainly deserve to, but I'm hoping a former Isthmian club like Woking or Bromley win it. Although born and brought up in Barnet, I'm not feeling enough love for them.
Oh nice, I saw the third on my phone while waiting for someone at a bar and may have audibly gone OOOF! in reaction. He would have been a L1 player had they not come calling with their mega bucks.
Just to close out the Isthmian League story…it was Walton’s title to lose. They were 2-1 as the clock struck 90 before Thatcham scored an equaliser at the death! Therefore, with a 3-1 victory, Basingstoke won the title.
These were the scenes shortly after the final whistle.
Nantwich had to win and hope Atherton Collieries lost to remain in the Northern Premier League. After going 1-0 down Nantwich scrapped to a 2-1 win. Atherton were losing and around 30 teenagers did 'a Poznan' on the side terrace. Unfortunately for Nantwich, Atherton got a late equaliser, sending the Dabbers down. Police sirens ringing out across Cheshire tonight as (presumably) said teenagers are being chased down.
Never thought I'd say these words but well done Sunderland, 6th in the Championship seriously impressive even with the resource gap from what we would have had.
Good times in the North east, Boro doing well too.
What’s the deal with Kenilworth Road if Luton do get promoted? The only way I’m prepared to accept them in the Premier League is if they have to play home games at Watford.
Wycombe really doing PNL a favour, firstly defeating Cambridge now Tyler Goodhram from the Chair Metropolis has put the 3 sides 1 up, before going off injured.
Oxford are going to scrape survival aren't they. 4-0 up now. Cambridge could feasibly get 9 points out of their last 3 games. Franchise look most vulnerable now - they have Barnsley next up.
I am all for Oxford surviving if it sends MK down. The ratio of hatred between the two is about 1:100. Oxford are more bumbling and humourous than anything else!
Either way, even if we end up in L2 we can always laugh that we destroyed the Championship dreams of both clubs as an underdog ranking last in every fancy category. That will never get old!

Really hope that Notts County can win the playoffs now.

And yeah I see the Beavon resemblance

In a world of constant change, it’s nice that Spurs remain dependably hilarious.
This is unb... entirely believable. Newcastle have been brilliant, but it's clown grade stuff from Spurs.
Not sure this is even predictable levels of spursy

Looking at the run-ins of the chasing pack, I'm going for Luton - Cov and Boro - Sunderland semis

£8-10m rebuild of Kenilworth Road over the summer.

I'd have thought they'd share with MK
I remember seeing Luton having plans for a new stadium and aiming for the Premier league.
Did have a chuckle.
Doesn't seem so funny now!

Really hope one of Accrington/Cambridge/Morecambe can stay up. Preferably Accrington cos there's not much you can really dislike about them.
F@@@ing Cheltenham. And you still know Alfie bloody May is going to knock a couple past us at the weekend.

@ReturnToSenda I'm 42. Can you explain the bantz
This is the most mental thing I've ever seen
Association football explained to an American....
You don't have to explain it
It's ingrained in your soul
The wildcat teams you have will never last
From the first time a bodger turned a branch of beech
Until we lifted the Cup at Highbury
Shev turns out to be a 'deep spy'
Oxford fan
In a horrible world this is the last straw
