Long Crendon FC have announced initial plans for a new home just outside the village, off Drakes Drive, with up to five pitches including a main 4G one. It's not clear how it will be financed, but a donor of the land is mentioned.
The one the week before, where Salah was offside, the defender couldn't see out the back of his head, so had to deal with the ball, yet Salah ends up scoring straight after, was an even bigger indicator the rules need revisiting.
For my sins, I’m watching the north London derby. An ugly phenomenon that I’ve not been aware of before is making for uncomfortable viewing. Virtually every time an Arsenal player is in possession (the vast majority of the time) there is what sounds like disturbingly widespread booing by Spurs fans. Is this another example of the aggressive, intolerant attitude of a worryingly substantial proportion of present day society?
I'd say that's pretty common and has seeped in from the continent - it's akin to atmospheres at a lot of European games. That said, I think they're mainly jeering Partey - which is to be expected.
No, every Arsenal player has been booed. The continental thing, for many decades, has been to whistle when the opposition are in possession which seems much gentler and less offensive.
Hopefully that little shit who tried to kick Ramsdale in the head has been to his last football match. Sadly not remotely surprising to see scenes like that.
Not sure this is the most appropriate thread on which to comment on presenters’ voices but I’ve just been viewing itv’s EFL round-up programme. I doubt whether I’m alone in thinking that many young women’s speaking voices nowadays are the reverse of soothing and melodic but the voice of the girl presenting the aforementioned show (Jules Breach) really takes the biscuit.
In the interests of balance, I should mention that Jamie Mackie’s tones are not exactly dulcet either. Dean Ashton fine.

@Shev Willian has just done your least favourite thing after scoring v Chelsea...
3.5 matches is a decent chunk of a half season loan, not sure anyone has ever got a more costly ban. Potter must have run over someone's cat.

These non-celebrating players are lucky I don't make the laws. I would make it a red card offence.
In other news, I won the lottery on a scratch card here, but I decided not to celebrate as I used to play a different brand of scratch card.
Absolutely spot on Shev
On a similar note, any player who kisses the badge on their shirt should never be allowed to play for another club
I feel for Graham Potter, but it is nice to see Chelsea truly in their banter club era.
Was rather unique with the hop, skip and jump run up. Suspect the ref was thinking ‘yellow card for him, or just give the goal?’
Interesting approach from Leeds, sending 9 players up for a corner then conceding from it...
Only just seen the Bruno Fernandes goal from yesterday properly. Astounding levels of incompetence.
Wycombe legend Robert Jones referees Newcastle v Fulham
Its been a crazy game so far!!
It's just how the rule is written.

It's about interference and Rashford could hardly have been interfering more blatantly!
He didn't touch the ball.
It was some clever stuff from him. Most players I dare say would have touched it. We see that quite often.
They need to tidy a few rules up in football, a lot down to time wasting, but this is another one for sure.
He didn't, but it was blatant interference and that's been offside for as long as I can remember (then again, it was Attwell...).

You should have seen the scenes outside the Everton stadium after their defeat yesterday.
Packs of goons holding their players up from leaving and ranting at them.
And Everton directors warned it wasn't safe for them to even turn up!
Today's society unfortunately not happy unless they are moaning or calling someone on unsociable media

Reported.
I don't understand why Ramsdale is not the England keeper. I think he is far superior to Pickford.
Really? Pickford is the only reason Everton aren’t cut adrift at the bottom of the league.
Or alternatively, Arsenal are clear at the top due in part to having Ramsdale!

Mwepu has the worst luck.
October: forced to retire after being diagnosed with a hereditary heart condition
2 weeks ago: things looking up, Brighton give him a coaching job with the academy
This week: suspected heart attack while driving in Zambia.
That might be arguably true, but it doesn't necessarily mean Ramsdale isn't the better keeper either.
Tottenham were never scoring with the form he was in yesterday.

I’m afraid it’s an irritating trend which on quite a few occasions has forced me to switch the radio off.
