We're always being told football is in 'the entertainment business'. Imagine going to your local cinema on Saturday to find they wouldn't sell you a ticket even though the screening was only half full. I paid cash on the gate at Wembley years ago at bigger games than this - can't see any reason other than protectionism for the ticket selling cartel.
