I think we need to spread the word ! especially as Southend's ticket cut off is not until Friday 12.00pm ....just hope people
are aware with our smaller window
Seven minutes ago from @wwfcofficial. Not sure why there's such confusion, maybe it depends upon how many tickets we sell before they go off general sale?
CLARIFICATION: no decision has yet been made on whether tickets will be available on the day at Wembley, so fans are urged to buy now.
This is embarrassing stuff. First the 2 day season ticket window gets slashed at a moments notice, then there's a completely pointless 9 ticket limit, then you can buy tickets on the day, then you can't.
God knows what supporters do who aren't on twitter.
Or people who arent full time on the internet or keeb supporters like us. Seem to be making it overcomplicated for the average parent/grandparent to get the future fans there!
Shameful given we didnt know we would be going until thursday night
At around 9am this morning I was relieved to be informed through WWFC twitter that tickets for Wembley would be on sale on the day. Although I had managed to buy 3 tickets via Ticketmaster Website, I was concerned for the many none users of the net that they might miss out. To find out a few minutes ago that this might not be the case has made me very angry. For goodness sake if WWFC are unsure then they should have found out from the powers that be. Unlike us they must have a contact number!
It must be in the best interest of all concerned that tickets should be made available on the day!
as far I am aware its against wembley and football league rules to sell tickets on the day, but not to sell them up until the day and have them collected which doesn't seem to have been offered.
I have been to the last two league 2 playoff finals' at Wembley and found no problem whatsoever buying on the day.......Can't see any reason why they would change the rules now. Can't be right surely?
yes, and they're also going to go back on sale for the rest of the week to be picked up at Wembley. Fron the clubs twitter feed:

I imagine there has been some behind the scenes stuff going on in order to get this sorted out. Hats off to those at WWFC who have got this sorted out.
I can't see anything on the WWFC Official Site as yet, to say that we can buy tickets at Wembley on the day. It does inform us that tickets can be collected if ordered via Ticketmaster after noon today.
I bought my tickets at 8am on the day they were released, surely anybody who wanted to go would have done so by now ....... I understand we have sold 15,000 so still a fair way behind Southend on 18,000
On the contrary many people may get swept up in town on the day! And decdide to jump aboard. Also living a distance from wycombe i have a fair few mates who have said if it is sunny they will be tempted!
I was replying to LDF blue_w. I would be amazed if tickets were on sale at Wembley on Saturday. I hope that I am proved wrong as the more people who spend will give WWFC 25% of the takings.
@blueh_w I bought my tickets for FAT final @Wembley v Kiddy Harriers 5 minutes into the game. I was working in Greenford at the time and decided at the last minute, to close the business early and go. So glad I did, saw a great WWFC victory and walked out of the stadium a very happy bunny, only to bump into my boss on the way out!!! What were the @%fin chances of that amongst all them people!

It's ridiculous that the 2 ticket agencies are not able to offer the same services. Definitely puts us at a disadvantage.
I think Southend fans can buy tickets and pick them up at the Wembley ticket office, I didn't see that option for us?
This is a scandal, why do they have a better service, hinders our numbers!
Are Southend using Ticketmaster ? Or their own ticketing systems?
They're using See Tickets
SeeTickets are selling tickets to Southend supporters until noon on Friday, to be picked up at Wembley on Saturday.

Shambles
A game of this importance and now this ?! terrible
So does this mean that all ticket sales to Wycombe fans stops tomorrow at noon , yet Southend can continue purchasing tickets until Friday. Crazy
I believe we get a percentage from the league on tickets we sell which we may not on tickets sold at Wembley
Who cares about percentages? I want supporters there if they want to be, 1 extra voice is one more!

As the chair says, nothing about on the day
thats because they are not available on the day .... who the fuck buys a ticket for game like this on the day !!!!
Interesting aside.
I remember reading some years ago about the opening England game at Wembley in the 1966 World Cup against Uruguay.
Believe it or not, you could actually walk up and pay for entrance on the gate, on the day, for this match! How times have changed!
