They look very good, if they had Lyle Taylor style player they’d be right up the top of this league.
The one man midfield experiment needs to be changed. We just are not competitive enough in defence.
Yeah we need to tighten up our defending of set pieces but I've seen enough in the last two games to think we can look ahead to the next few weeks with some confidence.
Ref has bought a lot of niggly ones in the middle of the pitch, but bottled any big decisions. Not sure why it wasn't a red for Fry for his last man challenge on Kashket to be honest.

Wasn’t a foul. Kashket wasn’t making it and took a fall.
They’re one of the better teams we’ve seen. A good balance of tough and very talented. As with all the top 8 teams, they have a couple of players who look a class apart.
Frustrating today, but if we show the same improvement between game 24 and 46 that we’ve seen between games 1-23 we’re in for a close finish.

Bit gutting after a great start, but Boro are a pretty good team and we had chances. Thought we lost a bit of momentum with the subs, afraid Fred just doesnt look like he belongs out there atm
Unfortunately we saw some players return to their invisible status again. That might be cos of the role they were asked to play of course but Horgan, McCleary and Fred when he came on contributed very little in attack.
Is Fred a candidate to go out on loan? He seems shot mentally

He wasn't making it, but he was fouled.
Are you able to explain how it could be a goalscoring opportunity if he wasn't going to reach the ball?
Comments
Cannot complain about effort 2nd half.
Does the commentator mean 'in the vicinity'?
Sam Avery a bit quick to say “a wonderful goal “!
Potentially kill it off!!
Boro have been so dangerous. Ah well - proud of the display anyway!
What an absolute mess of a goal to seal it for them.
Why the heck isn't someone on the front post there?!
strangely played well but defending from set pieces have been shocking
Shattered dream today.
Desperately soft goals to concede.
Despite the score this is a good performance against a very effective Boro side (one of the best I’ve seen this season). 3-1 a bit harsh.

They were too good for our defence it is true. Sad after such a strong start.
No hard luck stories as such today but two shockers for the goals from corners.
ref has been diabolical again

Some massive games coming up
Why, because were losing??... he's been fine

Really? Pretty decent I’d say.

He didn't even award a free kick
not at all , he has been in consistent, makes the easy decisions but bottles the big ones
I never want to hear the word ascendancy again
Fred has zero confidence
@Wanderers82 in what way was ref diabolical?
