On Reading, I was surprised to see you saying that they were "going for it". Is that what the rumour mill is saying? I have to say that from where I'm sitting, it looks a complete shambles - like Leeds under Cellino.

I know the guy who runs The Tilehurst End and that's what he's saying. Will have a Q&A up this weekend, but it sounds like they're going to throw the kitchen sink at it in a bid to go up this season - but fans are (probably rightly) concerned. It has the potential to all end in tears, but I think the attitude of some owners now towards points deductions is 'We'll take the hit'.
I'd certainly be worried about this if I were a Reading fan - over 300% of non-matchday income spent on wages.
But yeah, the way Bowen has gone from manager to supposedly moving back to an upstairs role to leaving the club altogether doesn't come across great...

306% and not on the back of recent relegation. Either deep pockets or completely barmy.

Great write up @chairboyscentral, cheers.
I'm also with @mooneyman in not tipping us for relegation.

@chairboyscentral Thanks for these. I'm finding them very useful.
