I may have 27 downvotes for my musings on Matt Bloomfield's loyalty but at least I know that Blur trumps Oasis. And Pulp trumps Blur.
Pulp had about two songs. In no way do they outrank Blur.
Pulp have been around since 1978, so while not technically a britpop band, they just happen to be better than anything britpop did produce, and every single track on Different Class is a classic that stands up better now than anything the Colchester mockneys of Blur ever made.

No, Gershwin.
And tea, of course.
For one awful moment I thought you said Genesis. Now that's a whole new world of musical pain.
Loved the ‘70s Genesis band. Borrowed an LP from the library. Standout track for me was “A trick of the tail” or something like that.

To be fair to Blur, they weren’t mockneys when they were pretending to be Mancunian baggies when that was the popular thing.
Supergrass all the way
