INGRAM

On 3 counties radio after the game GA said Matt Ingram was close to playing last night. So lets hope that he plays on Thursday or else we could be in big trouble!

  • Massive agree we need Ingram back big time, felt sorry for lynch as did not look comfortable or confident.

  • Hopefully, but then again, GA would want to keep Plymouth guessing as well so I suspect he'd say that whatever the situation.

I thought Lynch did a good job last night on the whole, albeit, very well protected by Pierre and Mawson. Really good support for him from the away end as well - he'll need more of the same on Thursday if he does play.

  • Thought Lynch did OK in the first half, one good punch under pressure from a corner, and on another occasion came out well to collect the ball at the feet of Alessandra.

  • Bit much to rely on what Gareth Ainsworth thinks, we need @blueh_w's inside information.

  • Don't mean to be critical of the lad but his confidence must have been shattered after playing for Burnham who were relegated weeks ago.

  • He isn't good enough but then we all know that and so does he, also disappointing to see the crowd chant his name yet no reaction from the lad to say thank you for supporting me .... probably cos he knows he isn't upto it.

You know why, because Lynch was going over that 2nd goal on his head as he knew it was soft which is understandable for a rookie keeper.

More to the point who wasn't assisting Bean to contain the constant attack from the same positions, which was going to happen with players fatigue as we got closer to the end of the match.

I bet Lynch was tucked up in bed last night, dreaming about what if's, about that 2nd goal Howler and if that emergency keeper had played instead of him.

  • the goal wasn't his fault, Alfie Mawson needs to take the blame. He could have taken it in the face and didn't.

I agree with you there. Mawson was in line of sight of our keeper and Lynch too was expecting his stalwart to block the shot. Oh well

  • It should have been Mawson's block, Lynch was either expecting him to get it or he was unsighted for the shot because he barely moved for it. Mawson has obviously been quality this season but he was at fault for that one, and you can see it from his reaction post-the goal.

  • Blueh.w have you seen alot of lynch play? What makes you say he aint good enough on one game with so much pressure for a debut? He is very young an still learning the game an has big boots to fill with matt but you seem to have an agenda against him?

  • he has 2 relegations on his CV from this season already ...... excellent prospect I agree
your having a laugh yeh !!

  • 2relegations?

  • 83 minutes and Pilgrims where kept at arms length. We made substitutions to get fresh legs on and they imo let us down. Nothing stuck no runs with purpose, which is shocking tbfh. Hint to them subs, please run around in a meaningful manner like Craig, Hayes and Holloway for most of the game. Last 10 minutes was bloody aweful, crap passes, balls to the invisable man, naff touches and poor tackling and tracking (Fred) that's where we lost it. Back line were awesome, never stopped and gave it there all.

  • if plymouth had actually shot on target it could have been 5

  • If wycombe had ofshot on target it could of been five also

  • Mawson was at fault for the second goal NOT Lynch

That was my thought at the game an seeing it on tv i havnt changed my mind!!

  • Hayes and Yeading and Burnham were both relegated he played for both !! Badly

You've made your point, you fucking bore.

  • Hayes and Yeading weren't relegated.

  • Ahhhh ive just realised blueh.w your either 12 or one of those fuckin trolls no nothing twat!!

  • If Pitchero is to be believed (a big if tbh) then it looks like he kept 7 clean sheets out of his last 9 Burnham appearances.

    http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/burnhamfc/s/the-team-100689.html?player_id=1345603

  • He went to burnham purely for expereince as a 19 yr old into mens football, he couldnt drive at the time so he had to go somewere close , they were struggling as a team before he went an after he left an he wasnt there to prop up a struggling mens team even tho he played well for them!

  • @Chris It's not to be believed, he stayed there until he started appearing on the bench for WWFC in mid March.

Obviously Burnham FC's actual results don't give much evidence about Lynch's goalkeeping abilities, for the reasons mentioned above.

  • Ge kept 8clean in 12 games mid season then managment changed an cb an striker left ect

  • What Lynch needed early on the other night was a save to make early on to help his confidence. The defence protecting him so much as well probably didn't help it either. To me he looked more and more nervous and shaky as the game went on. He didn't inspire me with confidence and it was no real surprise when we leaked two goals late on. The goalkeeping situation is the absolute key to getting to Wembley IMHO.

  • of course it is and these injuries we keep getting is annoying especially when it was our own player playing out of position that crocked ingram because he didn't communicate

  • What happened to Martinez @blueh_w? You're just a shit stirrer.

  • @blueh_w Who didn't communicate?
