  • Oh, I grabbed lunch from the Co-op on Olympic Way, but there's only so much you can drink without re-lining your stomach... There's no sneaking food into NFL games anyway, clear bag policy.

That makes it sound like I had an absolute skinful, which even by my lightweight standards, I didn't.

  • How much did you drink? we need specifics

  • edited November 2019

    Enough

  • '...known by Gasroomers as chairboyscentral filmed in a club tracksuit worse for wear and celebrating their victory with Chichester fans...

After I've paid for my ST and crisps. Away games that are not 'local' create fiscal and time management problems that prove unpopular with Mrs W. Apparently I watch 'too much' football. And there are not that many away locations that can be sold as a delightful weekend away.

Yes. Was a shame Scunthorpe got relegated last season

  • Can you even buy a Wycombe club tracksuit?

  • Are you part of the singing gang out of interest CBC?

The what now? Is that like a barbershop quartet with machetes?

  • If we did get through the replay I would certainly offer any tickets bought for the 2nd round had a priority ticket for 3rd round home fixture.

  • Just seen them tweet the below.

Surprised they wouldn't open all stands for this one?! Surely it's not that low an interest game? If it is, Chichester might be a struggle if we got through!

We have a meeting in 15 minutes to determine which stands will be open for the FA Cup replay; tickets will then go on sale this afternoon. #WYCvTRA

I paid almost two quid for a bag of Quavers at Wembley the other week...

Other than the history of the place, and its convenience to get to, Wembley is a terrible venue isn't it?

Not really, has improved a lot round there now, box park, outlet centre, lots of pubs, hotels, eateries, atmosphere isn't always the best but depends on how many and who they are.

I realise you probably mean 'the lot behind the goal'. I am not.

  • Two words guaranteed to strike dread into my soul

    "box park"

  • Also, since when have we marked stadiums up on the quality of the nearest outlet centre?

  • Like limbs....I had to google boxpark...

  • There's a box park type thing in HW now.

  • Fill the car park with box parks rename the ground Bicester Village Park and organise cabs from the station you won't be able to move...You can have that one, Rob.

If they released that now it would sell plenty

When we used to moan you couldn't get decent food and drink nearby.

It's hardly AFC Wimbledon is it grumpy?

  • Must admit box park is new to me

  • How old is everyone on here....They've been about for years.

Apart from the price, I can't complain about Wembley, great view from everywhere and really easy to get to

For us in Wycombe yes! For most of the country not so much.

I'm far too old and I'd never heard of them. I also understand there are telephones now that you can fit in your pocket and carry about.

As things go it's not too bad for a large percentage of the population, good train links.

I like the light blue one from 75/76 as well.

Would want to see it in colour, but I would almost certainly pick one up if they did release a couple of versions, I'm sure a few mates would be interested too
