I remember Ivor Beeks saying, many years ago, that he would like to put a second tier on top of the home terracing. There is plenty of space that end for development.
That’d be great and presumably not excessively expensive @Steve_Peart.
An upper tier would have to be all seated I assume. We’d need a deeper canopy to amplify the sound in the same way as the away end roof does.
I always thought that the terrace was somewhere we couldn't develop. Primarily because the space behind the terrace seems quite tight and any development would also restrict access to the terrace end of the Frank Adams.
It'd take one supreme bit of architecture to put a whole tier up there, only use the perhaps 6-7 metres extra space of the walkway, whilst still allowing all the current accesses to other stands!

Plenty of space as in just up to the grassy bank? Or cutting into that a bit?

@Malone, I was thinking up to the bank, with access underneath, not that I'm an architect who knows what they are talking about!
Maybe cutting into the bank is possible, assuming the club do own it.

Griffin Park used to have a stand like that.
