  • Have to slipper out quietly.

  • Suede ones, of course.

@LX1 , tune into one of the many Man City game streams, and tell me you don't see any empty seats. There are swathes of them.
Any game, bar perhaps the United game.

Even for their later champions league games last year they had to do tickets for a tenner and still had tickets available the day before the game!

ps as for Leatherhead, well that ended a lot of pointless hype over Billericay!

The best was a guy on the FB group, arrogantly stating that he'd "give his house" if they had a bigger wage bill than us.
Before completely backtracking when someone posted the link of their wage bill on the bbc, and deflecting about how "we should" beat them either way.

    But erm..Leatherhead it is then.

  • @micra
Surely Brian Flynn at 5ft 3 1/2" when during his long spell as manager of Wrexham, must have been the shortest manager to grace the Adams Park dugouts ?

  • @malone in the first two highlights videos I stumbled upon (Liverpool and Palace) the stadium looks pretty full, and it’s a big stadium.

  • Etihad holds 55097. Average league attendance this season 54039 - 98% of capacity.
Last season average attendance was 54026.

  • That’s quite a lot.

Reported attendance versus actual attendance have never been the same thing.

Just one example of the City empty seats issue.
Normally "traffic issues" is the excuse
