Anthony Grant banished to train with the youth team for the entire season, "for in house reasons". Must have a pretty heinous crime!!!
I was thinking that. Maybe they're seeing how he reacts to the news and if he shows contrition, knuckles down and works hard then after a few months they'll welcome him back into the fold.

Interesting to see Poku playing for Woking. I went to an Oxford City game last year, and his chant was the best I've ever heard. To the tune of "I wanna be like you" from the Jungle Book! He was quite impressive as well
Me too. Still only 22 mind, so maybe a step down to get games and prove himself to earn a move back up. So hard for young players to get adequate opportunities sometimes.
It wasnt even a challenge, he had the chance to nod the ball home from two yards but ducked out the way. Most notable piece of cowardice I've ever seen in a Wanderers shirt. I've witnessed forwards like Simon Read,Neal Stanley,Dave Farrell who were a tad shy in the tackle but nothing like Jakubiak's duck.

Nah, Farrell was just scared of scuffing his boots......

That’s very odd! Where is he?

Must have been something very naughty indeed! Odd, as I've always felt he comes across as a very professional, down to earth guy.
Odd phrasing, you'd think they would want to move him on.

Dean Morgan playing for Beaconsfield tonight against Aylesbury Vale Dynamos.
Seems like s v long time ago we thought Tarpey was the answer to our striker needs!

Tyson again on target for Notts County
Josh Umerah signs for Ebbsfleet United.
Wow. Thought he was cut out for higher things.

Do Ebbsfleet still pay massive wages?
No, hence the exodus of the big earners in recent months.
didn't their rich owner suddenly decide to pull the plug?

Alex Jakubiak joins Gillingham on a season long loan.
Still the only pro footballer I can ever remember bottling a challenge.
Still the only pro footballer I can ever remember being told off by a mild mannered team mate (O Nien) for doing so.

Terrible memory or just don’t watch much football?
Nah, Farrell was just scared of scuffing his boots......
I can't remember any other notable ones at games I've been at.
Care to throw a few examples in?
Harriman on trial at Lincoln apparently:

He's been there a few weeks. I heard he had moved on to Cambridge.
He has been at LCFC already, and you're correct he did go to Cambridge, but played again for Lincoln last night.
I’m disappointed he’s not found a club yet. He should be walking into any League 2 side.
Tom Heaton moving to Aston Villa

Not sure if it’s been posted but I see Frankie Fielding has joined Millwall?
Ah, he joined them at the end of June. Missed that one.
