OUT-OF-CONTRACT York City defender Dave Winfield has joined National League South outfit Ebbsfleet United.
Winfield, 28, won The Press Player of the Year and Billy Fenton Clubman of the Year awards at Bootham Crescent last term, but turned down the offer of a new contract with the Minstermen.
Ebbsfleet missed out on a chance to ply their trade in the National League with City durign 2016/17 after losing their play-off final to Maidstone United.
