Aston Villa Tickets Prices

We won't make much money at those prices, probably be worth less that the 1st game.

  • Should still be around £150,00, purely from gate receipts

  • Hopefully

  • Also just seen will be going on general sale with no priority for season ticket holders. I'm so glad I go to the trouble of committing my hard earned cash in June/July each year to have the privilege of being kicked out of my usual seat for the game on Sat then having to hope that all the people who came out the woodwork on Sat don't grab all the tickets for the replay..........

  • I don't think you'll have any trouble getting a ticket. If the Wycombe allocation sell out there will be plenty of room in the Holte end.

  • Perhaps they should give us the Holte end like last time? Your probably right but I do get frustrated with the club on occasions like this and I do wonder if they sometimes don't things through......

  • its very tight on timescales for our size of club and staff situation.

  • Give them a break Pete, they are just trying to get a very difficult job done as efficiently as possible. Can't see us taking 4,800, and even if we sell that many, I am sure they will give us more.

  • So how many do we think we will take to Villa with it being a "school night". My starter for 10, 2,500.

  • 19,500?

  • Please note Blue_since_1990 I'm not having a go at anybody in the ticket office who I think do a fantastic job. I just get a little frustrated at some of the decisions that seem to be made at times by the club overall.

  • calm down Pete, there are plenty of tickets to go around

I do agree about the season ticket seat decision though. I'm sure they'll have learned their lesson for future matches

  • I am calm its just the frustration regarding the season ticket issue. that's the point perhaps I've not been very clear on.

  • I understand Pete. I am a season ticket holder in the Main Stand and I can relate to that very point. Wasn't trying to poo poo your point just trying to say we would get lots of tickets for the Villa away game.

The club do very much need to review their treatment of season ticket holders as that pre-season revenue is essential for cash flow and if we (the season ticket holders), see no benefit, then the number committing to buy season tickets is likely to be reduced.

  • Surely season ticket holders should only get priority in games that are likely to sell out? I really don't get the problem. Even if we miraculously sold the allocation we would get another load.

  • Villa are expecting around 20,000 which is less than half their capacity. In the unlikely event we sell 4,800 we will get more tickets. I'm not sure what the point is in selling to sth first on that basis other than to make them feel special.

  • @Vincey I think we're talking about people's seats being sold for the home tie last Saturday, rather than the upcoming replay.

  • we will not take 4,800 to Villa even on Saturday let alone midweek, loads of tickets go round.

  • There is enough tickets for everyone so why get worked up because season ticket are not 1st!
As its a school night we will never take what we took last time at Villa Park.

  • in 1992 when we got a replay v West Brom we took 4,500

different era maybe, and I wouldn't necessarily expect that many again but I hope as many as can make it do make the trip. These nights can be really really special and you remember them for the rest of your life

  • Why are so many people obsessed with how much money we make? I am excited about watching us play at Villa. Yes the financial benefits are much needed but we can appreciate that after. Personally I'm glad that at £10 a ticket as many people as possible will feel they can attend.

  • its just the crap we listen too week after week we have no money I know how much we will make down the to last 5 pence well clearly not as these prices would have been set before the 1st game as per the rules so we knew if we got a reply it wouldn't be making us 500k

  • Amen @LX1, this will be a great occasion with 90 mins of singing like at Stamford Bridge in the League Cup! The money for the club is a major issue as it can go a long way towards repairing the Hayes legacy but as a match it will be top!

  • I think a lot more parents will take their children than people think, these are the one off games that tugg at parents heart strings to take there little Julies and Johnnys. We have a group of over 20 who are desperately hoping the late trains are laid on.
lets make it a proud night for the Wanderers.

I cannot make Pete, so that's at least one person not clogging up the phone line...you should be okay. I was booted out of my seat as well but had a fine time on Saturday sometimes you have to go with the flow...

  • Can remember taking my son to the night Match at Stamford Bridge. .he was aged just 5..Always told him to remember this occasion. .might never happen again.Took him into school when he woke up the next day.

  • wow, as cheap as £10 for an adult. I hope no one who normally complains about cost misses this one then, as that monster pot will be just a decent pot now.

We'll just have to beat them and get a proper Premier league team away in the next round!

  • That makes it a hundred quid from Oslo, I'm in!

  • the £10 ticket price surprised me I had thought villa away with my meagre post Christmas finances would be a game too far but now I'm looking at train timetables.

  • OMG. There's always a @Pete somewhere...

  • Pete brother, there's no need to fret at all for this one!

We could probably have another 5,000 if we sell the first batch out, and any season ticket only window puts massive strain on an already tight turn around.

Look at it, they can only start selling tomorrow, that gives 5 working days to deal with potentially 100s of individual requests. If season ticket holders had a day or 2, it...well you can see.
