Terrible? Just trod on the bloke's foot! A bit naughty (if he actually meant to do it in the first place) at the most. Either way it didn't merit the retaliation it received. Just as well the kick on the ankle did not result in serious injury; although, I suppose, that would have satisfied some people.
I think @richmayes999 was referring to Luke McCormick - sentiments I entirely endorse. I never detest Wycombe fans more than when some of you are chanting 'murderer' at him.
Can the same thoughts be applied to clubs? Grudges held for years seem to go on until few remember what started it and the people involved are long gone.
