Re: New Manager Vote
@Shev is exactly right on Buckingham above. His record at PNL last season was actually very average having taken over in a strong position. They limped into the playoffs on the last day thanks to Pompey beating Lincoln and - despite a decent playoff campaign - nothing this season has suggested he's got the best out of that team.
Plus - imagine how annoying all the "Thanks Agent Des" comments are going to be from the PNL fans if it goes wrong. They're already smug enough as it is right now.

One of those units had a fire in 2017, thankfully not when a game was being played tho
And when we play Salisbury in the FA Trophy
Re: Rumour Mill
I think Hearts sent him back because he had a bad injury that they were aware of but did not inform Rangers. He was then out for 10 weeks and did not return to full fitness until the last month of the season.
Re: Rumour Mill
I'd be extremely surprised if Humphreys ends up at Luton this month. I can't see Ipswich recalling him from his loan, and certainly can't see them selling him unless it be for a significant fee.
Re: New Manager Vote
However, our last two managers have been ex-players who were given a chance in our management role. Gaz had a few months experience at QPR and Blooms maybe 6 months at Col U. Both were new to the management game but knew the culture and history of our great club.
With that in mind maybe we could give Sam Vokes a shot at the role. Sam is a very experienced player and already has the respect of all our players and I am sure he is going to be a very good manager in the future.
A risk I know but maybe a short-term contract with a view to extending it if all goes well.
Re: New Manager Vote
You'd know we'd have become a massive club if we start going down the interim manager approach. So we can line up a world class in the summer for the championship campaign and a big to storm straight into the prem.
